Valheim : How do I teleport?
To make the Valheim portal, you need to collect 2 awesome cores, 20 grey dwarf eyes and some fine wood. Then you need to build it and make sure the workbench is within easy reach. Then build a second gate somewhere else. The trick is to define a tag for both with the same word, because that way you can link them together. Once this is done, you can enter the portal to teleport to Valheim.
To unlock teleportation skill
As you progress, you must defeat the first final boss (Eikthyr) when Raven informs you about the Black Forest. If you visit it, you will see dungeons where you can find amazing cores. Also remember that when you unlock Fine Wood, you get the ability to build portals.
How does the Walheim portal work?
Once you have published a portal, you should interact with it, and then tag it. If two portals have the same tag, you will see that they are CONNECTED. Then just enter the portal for a quick trip, teleport to Valheim.
Pay attention to capitalization and spacing of words. The game will count words differently if you don’t follow this format. This may be the reason why your port is not working in Valheim.
Another thing to keep in mind is that some areas will be out of reach for creating portals. The wagon caves and cemeteries are some of these places. But apart from that, if you can get a good connection, you can just navigate the map without wasting time doing it manually.
As mentioned earlier, raw materials such as scrap metal, tin ore, copper ore, bronze and black metal scrap cannot be transported when teleported. So metals and ores are the items you can’t teleport with, which means you have to do it manually. To make the process easier, you can also purchase a dolly to move the materials over long distances.
