There will be a new R&C movie coming in April and the story will take place after the events of the first game and feature “Ratchet & Clank’s” father from the first title. The movie will feature returning characters such as Captain Qwark, General Alister Azimuth and Clank.
If you grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, you probably remember the name Phil Lamarr. He was a big part of the first 3 Ratchet & Clank games, and voiced the characters of Ratchet, Clank, and the shopkeeper. His name is also all over the recent Ratchet & Clank movie, starring raindrop-scarved Angelina Jolie as Ratchet’s mother.
Tom Kenny has been a voice actor for many years, and he is best known for his role as the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants. He has also voiced characters in various upcoming games, including Ratchet and Clank: Nexus Nova, Disney Infinity 3.0, and LEGO Dimensions. This week he tweeted that he will be voicing the character of the narrator in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.. Armin Schimmerman plays Ratchet and Clank’s old enemy, Dr. Nefarius. He’s been playing this role since Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal in 2004. Other notable roles he has played in video games include Andrew Ryan in Bioshock and Raz’s father in Psychonauts. He also appeared in World of Warcraft, Mass Effect and God of War II. Shimmerman also starred in several television series, including Numb3rs, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
David Kaye

David Kaye has been playing Clank since the first game came out in 2002. He has lent his voice to many video games and cartoons of all kinds. As for games other than the Ratchet and Clank series, Kaye has played The Wolf Among Us, The Cave, and Batman: Arkham City, several Assassin’s Creed games, and also scored several Call of Duty games. In animated films, Kaye has been seen in Teen Titans Go!, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball Z, and is the voice of Megatron in many Transformers series.
Debra Wilson

Debra Wilson plays a version of Clank from another dimension, Keith. The biggest video game you can recognize her in lately is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as Ser Junda, but she appeared in many large-scale games throughout her career. Bugsnax, Persona 5 Strikers, The Outer Worlds, Call of Duty, Gears 5 and the Wolfenstein games are just some of the projects she has used her voice for.
James Arnold Taylor

While Clank has had the same voice since the beginning of the series, James Arnold Taylor didn’t start voicing Ratchet until the second game. You’ve probably heard his voice as Tidus in Final Fantasy X, but he’s also been featured in several Lego games, Rocket Arena, and several Star Wars games as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Speaking of Kenobi: Taylor has been playing the Jedi for a long time, he played him in Star Wars: Clone Wars and many other projects. He impersonated Leonardo in TMNT and the lead actor in Johnny Test.
Jennifer Hale

Jennifer Hale plays the second Lombax and playable character, Klepa. She is best known for her role as the female commander Shepard in Mass Effect, but she also voices Eshu in Overwatch, Kronik in Mortal Kombat 11, and has also been featured in Marvel’s Avengers, Batman: Arkham Knight, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Bioshock Infinite, and many other high profile games. Hale also plays Jean Grey/Phoenix in numerous video games and X-Men series. She appeared in the movie Star Wars: Clone Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and the latest DuckTales series.
Robin Atkin Downs

Robin Atkin Downs is the voice of an alternate version of Doctor Nefarius, called Emperor Nefarius. However, this is not the first time he has played a role in the Ratchet and Clank games. In the previous games he played the role of Captain Slack. Down’s most famous video game role is probably Travis Touchdown in the No More Heroes series, but he also played Kingdom Hearts, Destiny 2, Call of Duty, The Last of Us Part II and Uncharted. Outside of video games, Downs can be heard in the films Ben 10, Guardians of the Galaxy (series), Sophia the First, The Strain and The Usual Show.Ratchet and Clank: Going Mobile is an upcoming title in the Ratchet and Clank franchise. It is a mobile phone game developed by Insomniac Games and released globally for iOS and Android this May. It was released in the US on May 26th and in the UK on May 29th. The game will feature the voice talents of David Kaye, James Arnold Taylorand Jim Ward as they voice the main characters Ratchet, Clank and Captain Qwark respectively.
