When playing regular games with small things, the player is always defeated for what he knows. But at a time when most answers – a search on the Internet, perhaps even more interesting is what players do not know, and how long they can survive navigating through a sea of disinformation. The latter is combined in Fibbage XL, another in a long line of Jackbox game favorites. This modern dictionary game, originally released in 2015 (standard in 2017) and known from the The Jackbox Party Pack collection, is now available from Nintendo eShop as a stand-alone game for those who wish to purchase the game separately from the full pack.
Thanks to the functionality of Jackbox smart devices, up to eight on-screen players are invited to answer an incomprehensible and trivial question, not with the right answer, but with an answer that just sounds right. Each answer is then posted anonymously (with the correct answer), and players have a limited amount of time to reveal the truth. Players receive points for finding the correct answer and even more points for each player who is cheated by choosing their lie. It takes three laps and the user with the most points at the end is declared the winner. This special edition, Fibbage XL, is equipped with extra questions and even more user-friendly features such as spasms control.
While the previous Jackbox titles were mainly dictated by disrespect and thematic charm, Fibbage is a very simple concept and simplifies the process by focusing on the participants. The challenge is to use what you know in combination with contextual clues to confuse other players and get as many points as possible. The result is a Star Party name with an incredible number of nuances for a game you control from your smartphone.
However, this intelligent device, which communicates with the Jackbox , is in some ways the biggest obstacle. Since the only way to communicate with the game is to use a smart device that can access the jackbox site, you will not be able to go beyond the title screen without an Internet connection. This was included in the Jackbox headers from the start, so it’s no surprise. Only for those who don’t know that it doesn’t have the same functionality as your usual badge. Given the portability of Nintendo’s switch, it would be fun to see the jackbox immersed in offline versions of these games. Since large meetings are still incredibly rare, the ability to play online with COM players or via the Nintendo Switch would immediately justify the price.

Final remarks : GROSS
Jackbox has built up a board game empire with his brand and Fibbage XL is one of his best products. I’ve never been to a party where Fibbage wasn’t an instant success, and I can get this game out of my pocket anywhere I have a desktop, and Wi-Fi is an incredible prospect.
