Doors are much more than just functional furniture, especially in the Sims 4.
Since TS4 is undoubtedly the best and most intuitive way to build and buy, I would say that TS4 actually encourages players to actively experiment with the design and construction of assemblies.
In this respect, there is a certain demand for more building materials to play with.
The front doors.
(Again, more than just functional furniture)
Doors can be used to decorate the room, as well as chairs, carpets and rugs. I think the wrong door might even spoil the aesthetics of the building. I don’t want to offend you if we disagree.
But the point is, you can do a lot with doors. That’s why it’s so embarrassing that the current selection of vanilla games is so limited.
But don’t worry, Sim’s 4 CC will still save the day.
1. Cedar door 1×1 on the coupling
Watch this CC
Sims 4: A small group of creatures revived all the cramped camper vows I had forgotten.
I have a weakness for small living spaces.
I like studios, rooms with shoeboxes and a house the size of a summerhouse.
That’s why anything that takes up the least space is, in my opinion, a victory. These thin, slender, 1×1 uterine doors are therefore a favourite with women.
These doors cover exactly one tile. No more, no less.
Perfect if you want to win all the bonuses of this delicate 32 stone house.
2. Zoosa sur Jomsim room door
Watch this CC
Besides small life concepts, I also have a weakness for minimalist aesthetics. Show me clean lines and hard tones, and I’m sold.
That doesn’t make me a big fan of models.
I really like anything that comes in more than three colors.
The design of these Nzuza bedroom doors is a happy compromise. There is a model that is sufficiently structured – for those who prefer small furniture – but clean enough to still be acceptable in a minimalist home.
It is also useful that this door has only one colour (four standard neutral colours) as design variants.
3. Steel and glass folding door – AshenSeaced Functional folding door
Watch this CC
This folding wall model in steel and glass is a particularly interesting creation by AshenSeaced.
The name speaks for itself: This is a glass door on a steel frame that opens automatically at the entrance of the Sim (just like automatic sliding doors in hospitals or shopping malls).
It sounds simple enough, but there’s that really cool, high-tech atmosphere that belongs in a dismissive millionaire’s villa or a chic, luxury apartment in San Michuno.
There are two options: one that flips to the left and one that flips to the right, and they each have 14 color options.
4. Devirose Modern Dream Doors
Watch this CC
Like jomsims’ Nzuza room doors, these Modern Door Dreams by Devirose have simple and elegant designs that can easily be classified as minimalist.
Note that I’m not a designer, so… you probably don’t believe my word as the Gospel.
These fully functional wooden doors are characterised by clear lines, sharp edges and warm, bright colours. There are four patterns: (1) alternating panels, (2) thin horizontal stripes, (2) wood white Yin-Yang and (3) white Tinay dots on a flat black background.
They’re not their real names, but they describe what each door looks like.
5. TS4 doors installed by TatianaName
Watch this CC
This set of TS4 doors by designer Tatiana gives us a first look at the decorative motifs – that is, motifs that are not just clear lines, certain edges and repetitive shapes.
(Maybe save a third)
There are three doors in this set, and each door is surprisingly different from the other. There should be a lot of pictures, but usually you have one with a chain pattern, one with a stylized image of an elegant flower plant and one with a diamond in the middle with four squares (and a lot of crossing lines).
All three doors have the same colour, but they generally look like dark wood and frosted glass.
These three options are also an excellent choice for a very Gothic or light Art Fartsi house.
6. Morus1 Doors of Mulena
Watch this CC
This is a rather interesting double door, which can be described as a safe avant-garde.
Or maybe it’s eclectic and tasteful.
It’s a little weird, that’s what I’m trying to say, but in a very good way.
On one side, the door is fitted with a hexagonal panel in a light wood colour and solid from top to bottom. The other side is another case of six square panels, but this time with a floral mosaic pattern of squares.
There are three options for the pattern surface, one where only the two bottom panels have a pattern, one where only the two top panels are brown and one where the whole side of the door has a pattern.
I would like to say that this is a very interesting – and (perhaps) fashionable – way to distinguish the interior of the room. I don’t blame you.
7. UK Akishima Telephone port
Watch this CC
I’m all for romantic decorations.
I also particularly like the functional design.
This door of Akisima’s British Phonebox likes to do both. This is a functional door from The Sims 4, which also has a cute and whimsical design. Is there a reason why it looks like a good old phone booth in the rainy streets of England?
Not that I know of.
Is there a reason why your sim is being used deliberately? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
She’s eccentric, she’s attractive and she has character. In fact, it is the perfect bedroom or office door for a special travelling simulator. You know, the kind that collects strange artifacts and delicate crystals for a dozen.
8. Three-layer wooden door, LaLunaRossaColour
Watch this CC
If that’s not the most aesthetic thing you’ve seen all day… …then you have to work in an art museum.
That’s right.
But my point remains the same: These door colors are great. Absolute visual pleasure, especially when you put them together, as can be seen in the sample photos.
They’re actually just paperclips and they’re very beautiful. The most colorful woods I’ve ever seen – and I’ve seen a lot of them. Completely light pastel shades going through the wooden structure of the doors.
To be honest, all variations of this colour look like fresh, hand-painted, light-coloured cedar wood. I saw it, and I was immediately sold.
9. MG Modern Doors Morgana Receivers14
Watch this CC
Remember when Devirose’s Modern Doors Dream CC was called here?
These morgana14 doors take up the design in many ways: They’re neat and clean and oh-o-very geometric.
They are also available in monochrome colour palettes, which are either warm, dark or something in between.
If you are looking for modern minimalism, these doors will certainly appear to you. They are so modern and of such high quality that they seem more concentrated than one would expect.
These doors are beautiful, that’s what I’m talking about.
And if you like a sleek, modern style, without too many shades, you’ll love it.
10. Shaft door x21 – Shaft doors – K Hippie TeamReal shaft
Watch this CC
Let’s be honest: There are good doors, there are big doors, and there are also K-Hippie Team True Wood doors.
Words can’t describe how in love I am with all of K-Hippie’s upcoming creations, but I will try.
This True Wood set contains 21 cute wooden doors that all seem to come from the cover of a luxury furniture magazine.
If you like to build in wood, this set has a door with your name on it.
Part 1 of this set contains 7 doors made entirely of natural wood. Each door has its own colour, depth and even a different grain structure. It’s like every door has been cut out of a different tree.
Yeah, the attention to detail is crazy.
(Inadvertent wordplay.)
Volume 2 is characterised by doors whose panels are mainly horizontal and have different dimensions (some are narrow enough to be considered as panels). The textures of these doors look more like cracked and worn tropical trees than the deep mountains of Volume 1, which are rich in pine vibrations.
Volume 3 contains 7 wooden doors, painted in attractive colours that are simple but breathtaking.
I’ll talk a lot about Team Khippy’s designs, but it’s true. The colors are beautiful. I’m talking deep lilac, emerald green, rich cocoa and decorative blue. They are aesthetic enough to work with any colour combination and modest enough to suit any style.
11. K All wooden doors – set-4-5-6-7 Hippie Team
Watch this CC
If the doors of the K-hippie team from the previous point didn’t fit your vision, these doors could be made of K-wood. They look just as tasty as real wood, except that they have more patterns and colours.
There are 4 sets of 7 doors, for a total of 28 doors.
Just like the real wooden doors in the previous paragraph, each set has a theme.
Set 4 contains all lines, edges and geometric patterns. The wood structure of this set is slightly lighter than that of real wooden doors. Bright brown, shiny and even a little bright pink!
Sentence 5 is much darker in comparison. In this special set there are two doors, a dark brown and a combination of light brown and ash blue, which seem to be made of small square wooden panels and not of planks or panels.
The sixth part is very similar to the Tom 3 True Wood. Seven wooden doors, each painted in a different colour. The colours are slightly lighter and more intense than the deeper and darker tones of real wooden doors, but they are just as bright.
Last sentence, sentence 7, the most eclectic of all.
It is fair to say that these seven doors have nothing in common except that they are made of wood. I’m not even going to try to describe how unique the doors in this kit are. You have to see this with your own eyes!
12. Door construction – Metaal of the K-Hippie Team
Watch this CC
The last treasure of the K-hippie team with its custom TS4 doors takes us away from our native pine trees and straight to the city of industrial grunge.
Despite the difference in material and texture, the doors in this metal door set are just as amazing as those in the K All Wood and True Wood kits of the K-Hippie Team.
This time there are 12 options, but they are still sorted by theme.
Volume 1 consists mainly of cold metal doors in solid colours: Blue, brown and two different shades of grey. They are all characterized by a high degree of rust.
In the second part there are four doors that – as the maker said – have to be grunted into themselves. Adequate description. These four doors do not look as worn and acidic as those in part 1. What’s more, they look almost depressed by fashion.
Some kind of homemade version of a ripped pair of jeans.
Volume 3 has a very bright black and yellow – and very noisy – hazard door. Don’t let your Sim open that door. To be honest, the other doors in this set don’t look any friendlier or more attractive. The light blue door seems to have been scratched from top to bottom and the brown door seems to have gotten its share of aggressive substances.
All these doors are ideal for abandoned buildings, closed factories and any house in Strangerville.
13. Entrance doors (6) in 5 colours per Mabra
Watch this CC
These Mabra entrance gates are very similar to those of the Sims 4 Morus1 Mill.
Both sides have a different pattern or design, which effectively distinguishes the inside from the outside.
As the name suggests, there are six door models with five colours for each model, giving a total of 30 variants. The designs themselves are incredibly modern and combine elements such as glass, dark wood and something that looks like polished steel (depending on the texture) in clever asymmetric and/or geometric patterns.
Simply put, there are many elaborate squares, lines and strips of wood that cut through solid neutral colors.
Crazy accessories for the designer to make both sides look different and at the same time make sure their designs fit together. It’s a bit difficult to explain, but the photos testify to it.
All the doors here seem to be ideal for modern country houses and ultra-modern, medium-sized condominiums.
14. Menaceman Toilet doors44
Watch this CC
When I saw those doors, I knew I had to load them.
I do a lot of loudspeakers, dormitories and dormitories where usually there is a tons of cornice between the same living room and the same bathroom.
Thanks to The Sims 4, there are public toilets for playing vanilla: City life and a pack of cats and dogs, but they’re huge. And clumsy. And the modern, orderly buildings, in which I try to find my way, are not always suitable.
These fully equipped Menaceman44 toilet cabin doors are a godsend.
They are cute, colourful and can easily change a few stalls in a row of public toilets without causing annoying emotions.
There are a total of 14 colour variations. And don’t worry if there seem to be recurring patterns; doors that seem to have the same colour have a different coloured frame.
15. Sandyphora Second-door display cases
Watch this CC
Straight from the acid-washed dreams of all grunge interior designers and Sims 4 builders we get the CC Double Door Fronts package.
One look should tell you everything you need to know about her. These are robust industrial double doors that give the impression of having seen something.
And you could, depending on what you tell them.
All 11 doors are worn out, rusted and screaming for damnation. An abandoned city world? An old industrial cemetery? Forgotten factories that keep more secrets than they should?
If you make one of these buildings, these doors are exactly what you’re looking for.
16. Nevix iridescent pastel door
Watch this CC
Nothing in Pastel Princess says more than these doors. Of course the colours – and combinations of colours – can seem a bit unpleasant. And brilliant.
But given the design of the rainbow, that was probably the intention.
I had to get those doors working.
You can use an existing bedroom theme (for babies, children or teenagers) or make a stylistic choice to make a bold statement. Anyway, I thought they were perfect. Unfortunately, there are only three options, but they’re pretty cute.
17. Palace doors from AnniQ
Watch this CC
Just like the double doors from Scandiforest, these doors from AnniQ are ideal for very special themed constructions. As the name suggests, it’s a palace body.
In suburban constructions, they may not be very useful for the regular game (unless you play fancy or eclectic games). But they still look cool.
There are three options for about one arc (again, with the same name). The double doors are available in different colours and models.
I thank the Creator for making these three elements seem essentially royal.
18. Puertas Cleo pqSims4 doors
Watch this CC
She takes the list from pure, minimalist Art Deco to full Art Deco, and that’s what I’m here for.
These doors are simply full of character. Will they work ceremoniously on all construction sites? Probably not. It is hard to imagine that one of these doors is in a comfortable cabin or in the isolation of the mountains.
But are they noisy and undeniably brave?
Yeah, and some of the Sim designers might be interested.
Personally I see that I use some variations (especially with the silhouette of a dolphin and the coloured drawing in the form of arrows and flutes) for an eclectic semi-modern black and white physique.
19. Door set: DragonQueen Maki and Sunflowers
Watch this CC
Although these doors are more suitable for companies than for homes, there is no denying that this concept is quite unique.
I haven’t seen much door glass, and this one’s pretty well done. My in-game tests show that the light doesn’t go through the door (unfortunately) like windows or solid glass doors, but the design is quite cute.
Butt’s drawing has four different frame colours (three shades of brown and one of white) and sunflowers (two shades of brown, one of white and one of green).
And if flowers aren’t your thing, take a look at the Disney version of these doors by the same designer.
20. Inner doors Mill
Watch this CC
We close this list with another set of double doors from Mulena Sims 4.
Like the Morus1 door, this CC inner door set has different style patterns on both sides.
On one side there is a row of wood (a rather nice dark cherry colour to be precise).
The other side is real joy. It is literally a landscape painted on every door.
And the scenes are beautiful: a strange two-storey country house, comfortably situated in a forest meadow, white marble arches draped with pale pink flowers, and a path leading directly to the sea, paved with funny cobblestones and sunshine.
I think the duality of these doors – like their Morus1 – is very clever.
You have one side that is versatile enough to fit any style, but then you have the other side that is clearly a stylistic choice. In the case of these doors, they give a whole new meaning to the concept of picture.
