Introduction
This guide covers the first elements of the game, how to use them, how they work and some basic strategies to play them. I won’t talk about certain cards or ghosts or how to fight them. This game is a beginning and it is constantly evolving. I will make every effort to keep this manual up to date, but some information may simply be inaccurate or out of date. I’m the breach and I’m marking everything Dev confirmed with ***. I won’t cover all subjects, because I’ve only reached level 5. I just wanted something really simple for the people who come into the game because there are no other leaders. All right, let’s go!
Game base
So you just downloaded your first map of what you’re doing.
Trucks
Look around the truck, get to know your surroundings. You’ll notice something.
1. You’ll notice the monitor. This is a video surveillance system that allows you to see the cameras that you have placed both on the map and on the plan.
2. There is a whiteboard that lists your goals and also gives information about the ghost, such as a name, or that it responds to everyone or only to people who are alone.
3. There is a map with the location of the building. There is a square button that you can use to move through the floors. The most important thing is to mark the green battery. The power supply is here.
4. Electromagnetic field diagram. There is confusion, this diagram is not used to detect EMF. This is just a reading of the overall activity instead.
5. The shelves contain the material you brought with you!
When finished, press the keypad to exit. As soon as you open the door to this place, the timer will start.
Location
Your goal is to find the ghost and collect three pieces of evidence to determine what it is. Personally, I thought it would be best to turn off your EMF reader and quickly skip the part where I say *Insert name here* if you can give us a sign. Listen to doors opening, things falling down, buzzing, buzzing, screaming, moaning. See if the lights or the radio come on. Asking a ghost to give you a sign increases your chances of doing all these things and can help you quickly determine where it is. Once you have the peak on the EMF player, this is the piece that will haunt your mind* (see below). They’ll be in this room about 80% of the time. Keep it in your heart while we take care of some business. Five minutes after entering the house, your mind starts wiping away. It drains much faster in the dark. The lower your spiritual mind is, the greater the chance that a mind will attack or paranormal events will occur. Note that the ghost can attack at any time, even in the first 5 minutes***.
* Probably the room where your mind lives * * There’s a chance they escaped in the next room. * * Use the other items described in the manual to detect the ghost, if this is the case.
From there you want to unpack your cameras, read the book about ghosts, turn off all the lights and hold a séance in the spirit. Can you see your breathing? Take the UV light and check all doors, windows and lights and see if there is anything. As soon as you have 3 clues, mark them in your diary and disappear! (Mind you, in my experience it can be difficult to obtain a third piece of evidence. Be patient!
You will also be introduced to three other randomly selected destinations. Things like the prevention of hunting by crucifixion, the use of greasy sticks, witnessing a ghostly event, and so on. They’re worth an extra income if that’s possible!
Hunting
So you put the cameras, the book, etc. on. Suddenly the heart beats, all the lights start blinking and the lantern is broken. We have to react, and quickly the ghost has set the so-called hunting phase in motion. Don’t walk to the exit, the door will be closed and locked. You have to break the ghost’s line of sight and hide! Cabinets, lockers, bathrooms, you have about 5 seconds before the ghost comes looking for you. Also be discreet, they can hear you through the microphone! If you’re playing in multiplayer mode and someone is in the truck, he’ll notice during the hunt that the activity at that location has increased tenfold. From what I’ve seen, the hunt can last a few seconds to a few minutes. Wait, sit down and pray.
Video camera
Video cameras act as a static element that can be placed around the board. Then you can see them from the truck. You can use the mouse to navigate through all placed cameras as well as all static cameras that are standard on the map itself. (Note that the cameras on the maps are turned off when the power to the sites is turned off). These cameras are used to gather evidence from the Phantom Sphere. You see the light balls pass in front of the camera. To see these balloons, place the camera in or near the room where the ghost lives and make sure the lights are off.
If desired, the cameras can also be placed on tripods.
Camera
This guy will be your livelihood to begin with! You only get 5 pictures at a time, so here are the things you have to photograph to get what I’ve found so far.
1. Bones on Earth2. Fingerprints on the door.

5. Skipping the EMF meter.
6. Written in the book of Ghost.
There may be other objects that can be photographed, but that’s all I’ve found so far. Some of them can also be inaccurate because they don’t feel consistent about whether or not I get money.
Book of Scripture
The book of the spirit world is quite simple. Take him to the spirit room and see if you can get anything. That’s it. Nothing else is special at this point. It may be worth buying a second copy to speed up the process.
EMF reader
I think that’s the most important thing you’ve got. You use it at the beginning of the game to follow the ghost, and later in the game, if you have additional purchases (which I strongly recommend), you can even use it to follow the movement of the ghost. The player has 5 levels. When you’re near the ghost, the player starts squeaking and shows some lights. If all 5 lights are on, you’ve got another clue!
Flashlight
He’s your savior. In VR you can place an activated flashlight on your hip and it still works. Approach it creatively, place it on a ramp or table and light up a hands-free zone!
Spirit Box
It’s my favorite so far. I hate this thing. That’s right. First of all, it seems a little difficult to know if it will work or not. Watch the tablet and see if the mind responds to everyone or only to people. Pray that’s all. You have to turn on the haunted cupboard in the haunted room by turning off the light. Start asking questions, like where you are or how old you are. I usually give it about a minute, and if I don’t get an answer, I throw it on the floor while it’s still on and don’t worry too much.
Flashlight/ultraviolet light unit
An ultraviolet flashlight can be used as an emergency light if necessary, but not too bright. The main application is to illuminate switches, doors and windows to see if a handprint is visible. If you see him, look for fingerprints as evidence in the magazine!
I will also include Glowstick in this section because it serves the same purpose. It detects fingerprints nearby (you must have them VERY close). Once activated, it will work forever and provide good emergency lighting or just throw on the light source. Be creative!
These two objects also show traces. To be honest, I don’t know much about footprints, but it’s an easy way to find out exactly where the ghost is and where it’s going. Although they’re temporary and disappear after a while.
Buffers
Use a lighter on the dots in the ghost room and you interrupt its activity for a while. Or use it if you’re a little scared and feel better!
Spark plug
It’s a candle! Use a lighter… Turn it on! Once lit, it gives light in a small area and can be used to light other candles or tampons. Careful, the ghost might blow it up.
Lighter
Another important point. You need it to light candles and spread sticks. Be careful when falling or standing, it can often overturn physics and fly on the map!
Thermometer
This element is used to determine the ambient temperature. A sudden drop in temperature indicates that the ghost is nearby. Can be useful for identifying phantom parts or tracking moving parts, but is not required to prove freezing temperatures. You just need to see your own breath.
Crucifixion
omnipotent crucifix !!!! Or… Your fall. This guy stops the ghost from hunting. The grip, it has to be close to the mind to work. If you move one or two rooms apart, don’t expect it to work! To make the best of it, throw it somewhere in the haunted room. Since he’s there 80% of the time, he’ll probably disrupt the hunt. If you’re being hunted, it’s too late. God can’t help you now. Fade up. SHIRINA!
Although I haven’t tested it, you can of course use a crucifix to bypass the open front door and prevent it from being locked during the hunt. Try it at your own risk.
Try not to lean on that too much. Never mind.
Salt
Salt is used to follow the movement of the mind. You see a footprint in the salt as a ghost passes by. This is useful to see where the ghost is running or to confirm in which room it is. It’s also useful against ghosts you can’t track down.
Tips and tricks
It will be a slightly disorganized part where I present things as I think they are.
1. Be smart about placing the camera. With a camera you can collect up to 4 clues in a truck! Take the camera to the haunted room. Try to get him to the door. Use a UV lamp or an indicator light to illuminate the door and view your fingerprints. Next to the door you press the EMF reader and the ghost who writes the book against the wall. So with one camera you can see everything, fingerprints, electromagnetic measurements, ghost images and ghost bullets. I haven’t tested it yet, but maybe you can even drop the activated thermometer in front of the camera and get measurements to measure the freezing temperature. Be creative!
2. Sprinkle salt in the entrances, not in the corridors.
3. Prepare your articles at the front door of the site for faster access.
4. EMF readers can be used as an alternative method for tracking ghosts. If you have more than one, you can put them on the floor like salt. When he beeps, you know the ghost is there.
5. Candles and flashlights are not considered light sources for objects such as a perfume bottle, mare, gin or camera***.
6. I would avoid tripods if you were playing with the mouse and keyboard. You can’t place them as accurately or as well as you can in the VR. Which brings me to the number…
7. This game has the best VR experience. I play RV 95% of the time, for more reasons than just the fear factor (the game itself is scary, in RV 1000 times more) In RV you can hold 4 objects against 3 (2 on the belt and 2 in the hands). In VR, you can manipulate objects more easily to tilt them at will or to position candles and other objects more accurately. Even lighting with a lighter is ten times easier in VR.
