As if kittens aren’t beautiful enough, communication with them in the digital world always seems too beautiful for words. Whether they do their usual tricks with all their insolence or lead you with the deep wisdom of an unobstructed stoic, cats are always a great addition to the game or even the center of a great adventure. Here are a few games that I found that fall into this category, but also add a little spice to the table.
Calico
This project was born out of the love for magical girls and cats and the desire to create a game that would be light, pink, soft, fluffy and feminine. It also contains everything you like in simulations like Animal Crossing (furniture, jewelry), but the animals won’t leave, the shop will never close and the harvest will never rot. The goal of the game is to make the city’s cat cafe active again and full of pleasant creatures like cats, deer, raccoons, dogs, turtles, red pandas, foxes and much more! Cat Quest / Cat Quest II
Cat Quest is an open-world action and adventure player, developed by The Gentlebros. Visit the Cat Quest page on the Nintendo website (which is full of cat words games) to find out how your player’s sister was abducted. So they went on a trip to save her from the evil Dracott. The Cat Quest for Switch game, available from Nintendo eShop for just £9.99, is a pin in your bank account you won’t hate!
Snacks
Snacko is an agricultural simulation game developed by an independent studio called bluecurse in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The founders, Jordan and Erisa, husband and wife, wanted to create a world where cats would rule the earth, so the project started in 2018. Night in the forest
Night in the Woods is an independent adventure game with a fall theme. In this game, you can see the former mining town of Possum Springs, which once collapsed. Mineko’s Night Market is a fun cat theme for the next PC, Mac and Switch by Meowza games. You’re playing for Mineko, the girl who just moved to a superstitious island full of cats. The aim of the game is to find and sell materials and handicrafts at the night market. You can make friends among the villagers, go fishing, go on quests, play minigames and much more! The game was originally scheduled for release at the end of 2018, but its release has been postponed to 2020.
Friends: Cats and dogs
Friends: Dogs and cats: A pet simulation game for Nintendo Switch. The sixth. A Nintendogs game will be released in Japan in December. The game allows players to live and play with cats and dogs, using living models, textures, expressions and animations.
Walking
Originally STRAY started as a concept called HK_Project. The principle is that players have explored a strange/modern city like a stray cat. The few photos and gifts that circulated on the internet became quite popular and aroused the interest of many. A few years later, after many people had forgotten HK_Project because of the radio silence, the game surprisingly reappeared. The official announcement of the 11th. June 2020 confirmed that the game, now called STRAY, will definitely be for sale. Even more exciting is that the game is nearing completion.

Me and I
Me and I is a puzzle game developed by Chinese studio Wish Fang and published by Ratalaika Games. It was released for Nintendo Switch in Japan and the PAL regions on March 6. July 2017 and in North America on the 13th. July 2017. The aim of the game is to control two cats at the same time and bring them both safely to the end of each level. Originally it was quite simple, but the presence of two characters performing the same action makes it difficult to get through the 92 levels of the game.
