So of course one of the biggest signs of success is when you bring cinema into your home.
Even if you only use it once a month, wouldn’t it be great to have quality movies, chairs and snacks on hand, ready when you need them?
Yes, of course. Home theater is all about having fun, so it’s good to bring The Sims into your home as well.
And even if you (and your Sims) aren’t big movie fans, this is an epic idea for a room in a mansion! Every time I try to build a house with more than six rooms, I have nothing left to spend them on.
I see now that this is what I’ve been paying attention to all along.
And while the film packaging is great, we could always use a little more.
CC’s creators allowed us to place the TS4 home theater however we wanted, whether it was the typical look of a movie theater or a more casual entertainment center.
1. Cinema-seating capacity and space requirements

The red upholstered seats with cup holders are an essential part of the movie experience.
It’s kind of a stereotype that cinema seats are very uncomfortable. But my experience is just the opposite. They’re very convenient.
If the movie wasn’t so captivating, you could even take a nap there.
I don’t mind bringing them to my house. And our Sims seem to like anything but cheap, comfortable beds, if we’re judging by their mood.
These chairs are also decorated with soda and popcorn, and the chairs have slots to install them, which is a nice touch.
2. Screens and sound equipment for outdoor use

Here we have a slightly different take on home theater: Your Sims can now watch movies outside!
All you need is a big screen and a pair of speakers, and there they are.
The rest is up to you, and I think that’s the fun part.
Want to keep the classic look by using the top seats? Or just use the patio chairs we already have?
Are you going to use outdoor lights or let your sims spend the night?
You have to decide if you want a rug or if you don’t mind watching a movie on the lawn too.
The only thing better than a movie theater in your house is a movie theater in your backyard.

I can hardly remember a time when I watched a movie without the squeak of popcorn in my ears or the smell of butter in the air.
These boxes would make an excellent sideline in a sima home theater. They’re those old rectangular boxes, with simple options and smiling popcorn on the front.

I have no statistics or sources to back up that claim, but you know it’s true.
These chocolates from SIMcredible! bring the most delicious chocolates to your Sims. These M&M’s and Willy Wonka candies would go great with popcorn and lemonade!
Too bad there is no more candy for our Sims. They’re so needy.

I’m sure it’s the promotional material for these movies, which is great. Some of the most famous and popular films have been shot here, including Jaws, The Godfather, Jurassic Park and The Silence of the Lambs.

From language to design, to actors in their roles – that’s Sim solid.
It’s really incredible.
I don’t know how they were made, but if it was half as complicated as I imagine, this Simmer should get an award or something. You can see at a glance which movie each poster represents, and the Sims look incredibly like the real actors.
Also here the choice is huge.
You can stick to classics like Gone with the Wind and Casablanca, or opt for modern legends like The Martian Games or The Hunger Games.

I think DVDs are always best.

So many of these movies are watched by so many people. Seriously, just the sight of Dumbo made my heart pound.

That’s the size everyone wants in a movie, even if you know you can’t eat it all.
Your Sims are first and foremost a matter of aesthetics.

Whether your Sims are watching a movie at home, at the movies, or in the yard, they can get their popcorn nearby.

It’s usually so much fun.
