Where to find the electric crystals when you meet Genshin
The only clue is that Genshin Impact’s in-game guide gives information on where to find the electrocrystals under the mountain cliffs and Oath Cape. For your convenience, we’ve highlighted a few other places that will help you improve your score faster.
Oath of Office
This is probably one of the most remarkable places to get electrocrystals. It should be easy to remember because there’s a lot of electro-mud, a big gust of wind, and it’s a kind of electro-ipostasis.
Input for Boss Oceanid
There is a small cave hidden behind some foliage that leads to the Oceanid boss fight (perfect timing, since the Wishful Dropful event is currently taking place on the Oceanid). The map shows a small notch in the rock face indicating the opening of the cave (see photo above). In this one cave, there are 4 electrocrystals that reset every few days.
storm pine
Once you unlock Stormterror’s lair, it easily becomes one of the best sources of electrocrystals. It can be a little difficult to find your way around this area, but since it is a circular area, keep the tower on one side and follow the rock. In the picture above we see one of the best places in this area for electrocrystals.
Wolfdom
There are a few scattered around the region. Look at the faces of the rocks around you and you’ll find several crystals, each near a group of enemies.
Cuijue slope
If you stand here, you might see a group of electrocrystals like this.
Luhua Basin
If you’ve been here before, teleport to the field and take the land bridge to find the crystals. Maybe you’ll find more scattered.
Other important places
You may only find one crystal at some of these places, but if you’re in a hurry, be sure to check them out!
- Just below Qingyun Peak in the Seven States…
- The path north of Storm’s Lair (on the top ledge on the right).
- Falcon bank (near the middle of the water)
- Brigt Crown Canyon (Warning: the Guardian of Destruction is a gift)
- Near Mingyung Seven State Village
Player tip: When you have found them, stay away from the crystals, because the static charge of the stones will damage you in a small radius around them. Electrocrystals also often draw attention to electrolytic sludge. If you plan on collecting these special crystals, make sure you have at least one pyromancer on your team to fight the slime and collect the crystals.
How to break electrocrystals Overload reactions
The only way to collect electrocrystals is to create a super charged elemental reaction. When the pyro and electrical elements are combined, the overload is activated and a large AoE (area of effect) explosion occurs. Having a pyro character on the team is essential for this!
But in theory, if a pyro source is close to the electrocrystals, you can have fun with the ability of the Anemos vortex character to cause an overload. So, if a Hilikurl comes at you with a fire club and falls on an Electro Crystal….. Well, we’ll let you find out what happens next!
