We’ve got new patch notes for everyone today. Below is the list of changes with a brief description to describe what’s new.
The latest update for Hunt Showdown is now available for players on the PS4. This latest update includes a bug fix for the Hunter Class and more changes aimed at improving gameplay.

General updates
AI
- The ground medic now drops unusable first aid kits when damaged by explosives or fire. This will bring it in line with the Hunt Showdown 1.27 update album.
- The weapons Scrapbeak holds now have the correct sounds and damage types.

Audio
- Hunters now make noise when damaged by gifeffects such as clouds (poison bolts, etc.) and bee swarms.
UI
- Interaction Hold now displays text below the progress circle to indicate the current action:
- Healing when using health stations or a first aid kit with Hunt Showdown patch note update 1.27.
- Treat a teammate using the first aid kit on a teammate.
- The rebirth of a teammate
- Follow a lead or fill a gap
- Stop the bleeding or the burning or both if you stop the effects of the disease.
- A bounty hunter

- Crown & King Auto-5 Balance Pass :
- Increased oscillation when aiming downward with Hunt Showdown update 1.27.
- Slightly lower shooting speed (but not too much so as not to reduce the feel of semi-auto).
- Flaktorch ammo:
- Can now kill in one shot (OHK) if enough bullets hit the head (9m for long/medium guns, 8m for small guns).
- While this range seems large enough, in practice it is only effective with an accurate shot to the head at close range (see Hunt Showdown Update 1.27 patch notes).
- Doom Doom. (Nitro Express) Ammo:
- Increased OHK range for Nitro Express Dum-Dum with shots to the upper body (increased kill range by 15m).
- The same AI bugs remain, so this change is meant to make the nitro ammo type less flexible and more suitable for hunters.
- Consistent transition to all medium and short barreled rifles:
- Changes have been made to make this weapon more reliable and less prone to strange RNG behavior at long range.
Hunter
Camera vibration damping :
- The camera speed can now be limited during certain actions, such as reanimating or looting combatants.
- This marginal effect will only work if the rotational forces are constant and unrealistically large.

- For infrequent and fast orienteering, this effect is NOT applicable (overall movement is not affected by this change).
Antispam:
- Fighters now receive a short speed penalty if they duck too often in a very short period of time.
Pistol set
- Fixed an issue where when pausing rehearsal weapons during a bullet ejection, the rehearsal animation kept playing even if the ejected bullet was empty.
- Fixed a problem where guns in the Winfield family could not be properly double cocked (double lever).
- Fixed an issue with Crown & King where the reload action took too long, causing the animation to stay on longer than expected.
- Fixed a bug that allowed reloading with the quadruple Derringer to stop prematurely, allowing for faster reloads.
- Fixed an issue where the LeMat revolver was playing the cartridge roll animation when using the shotgun.

- Fixed an issue where switching from crossbow to second weapon was slower than expected in Hunt Showdown update 1.27.
- Fixed an issue where the spread of the Dagger Precision was greater than expected when using a scope.
Global
- Fixed a problem where multiple barrels appeared in the same place.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in the corner of a supply station.
