The MSRP for the Founders Edition will be $1,199, at least that’s the official price, the actual street price will depend on supply and demand. By comparison : The GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition graphics card was released on the 24th. September 2020 at a retail price of $1,499. The GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition will be available on the 17th. September 2020 on sale for $699. This brings the price of the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition closer to the RTX 3090 and further away from the RTX 3080. It makes sense given the parameters we face today.

Simply put, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is a scaled down version of the GeForce RTX 3090. The specifications are closer to those of the RTX 3090 than the RTX 3080.
