We are always looking for a good Kickstarter campaign. One of them has been on our radar since last year, when Yvonne mentioned it in the Weekend Games News, and that’s Ova Magica.
Inspired by Stardew Valley, Slime Rangers and beloved classics like Harvest Moon and Pokemon, the words in the game description by developer ClaudiaTheDev caught our attention!
Ova Magica is an RPG/life simulator where you can breed and train cute blob creatures, take care of your farm, customize your home, and make friends with the people of Clover Town. Sounds fun, huh? Let’s see what we know so far.

Agriculture

Breeding protectors of lumpsters
Collect unique creatures called blobs with which you can cross paths to create a dream team with which you can fight. The drops come out, but unlike other games, you don’t get any experience points after a fight.
To make your drops stronger, you have to feed them with high quality food that you grow on your farm. You can also pet them and use special skills in the battle to make them stronger. And most importantly: Your drops can help you with your gardening.

Study
A little research, like in agriculture, can do that too. With dangerous mazes to explore where you can find eggs and rare treasures. The dungeons change every time you enter them. At the end of the dungeon you meet a strong boss who keeps rare eggs. You’d better get ready, because it’s going to be a tough fight!

Martial arts coach
You can fight other coaches and wild drops. Experience the real-time active combat strategy system with a small twist. Attacks will bring you back to the active timeline of the fight and may even cancel your current action. You have to think carefully about when to defend yourself and when to attack. In addition, you should plan to use the right type of skills to achieve basic benefits.

In the city of Clover you can make friends and build relationships with different characters. By communicating, fighting and giving gifts to the inhabitants of the city, you can strengthen friendships and discover new events and places. Current
At the moment Ova Magica is still in development. It has been announced that the game will be released on Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4, Xbox one and next-gen consoles after successful funding through a Kickstarter campaign.

Launch campaign
The Kickstarter campaign for Ova Magica starts on the 9th. February, a date to mark on your calendar. The game looks really fun, full of cute animals, just what you need to relax. A link to the Kickstarter campaign page can be found here.
