First of all, I think KT is a pretty cool Hero and very well adapted. It’s fun to play with him and score huge hits, combos and bombings.
For a beginner, he’s like a boss you have to understand and overcome in order to progress in the game, while for more experienced players he’s a relatively difficult to play but perfect wizard.
So my suggestions aren’t so much about balancing or making it easier to play if you drop the bomb, but rather about making small changes to make it easier to play and deal with. And of course these proposals are (almost) all independent.
Two ideas for his ultimatums:
- Wouldn’t it be much cooler if Phoenix could focus his AA with R while he’s active (like Jaina’s Elem or Gazlowe’s Revolver)? I don’t think it would make any difference if you didn’t use it, but it would take away some potential frustration and make you feel good about achieving something with this feature.
- What about reducing the damage caused by the dama at the base of the pyroablast, but adding a function that alters some of the current damage to the capacity? The spell would still ring: I don’t have a CD on the left side, I right-click on an enemy that has no defenses and blow it up, but the damage explosion would be more of a reward for the right combination/shipment of damage at the right time than a simple right-click at the right time. I admit it would be difficult to find the right job.
Ideas about his talents:
- How about combining the Devil’s Infusion, Mana Shot and Enchanting Sunfire into a single level 1 talent that gives 2AA strength and makes life and mana, or even more and a little enchanting when hitting heroes? I don’t think it would be an overwhelming talent, and the current state of Fel Infusion and Mana Tap is not very nice (I go back to my roots when I press D), and the situation in which you want to select it at the moment (no healer in the game or cheesy Sololane KT, no other mana talents to use) would still be covered, while other ways can be found to use that talent.
- This previous amendment frees up two places for level 2 and 3 talents; for level 2, for example, we can imagine the return of talents who are in the preparation phase. B. Tri-Optimal (D CDR when E lands) or Gravity Jet (E kills followers immediately) or new talents who have the full E-level. For level 3, one could imagine a defensive talent (such as speed of movement or armor…) (which would make the Mana Junkie less compulsory at high level and against divers, since it is currently his only defensive talent AND the best mana talent in the game) or something more DotA-like like attacking different heroes with skills that give the speed and range of attack….
Ideas about his Storm talents:
These talents currently dominate the flamethrower, and because they are the talents of Storm, others can be very polite.
- With Phoenix 2, instead of being moved, the AoE part of the AA could be enlarged, as well as the attack range.
- The fire brigade captain can also assign all level 4 (bomb-related) talents.
- Pyroblast 2 could get a CDR on kills and/or a shorter projection time instead of the current weird function….
- Improvements in heroic skills can be replaced by new active talents, such as. B. a mini Sunwell that provides mana to allies, similar to the Anduin Skylight, or like the Banished WC3 that exchanges spell armour to avoid AA.
I wonder what you all think, is it completely idiotic, and why or how it can be pushed further to make it worth implementing?
