AMD has released its Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.2 driver. The latest driver supports the new graphics cards in the Radeon RX 6800 series, released today, as well as the new Blizzard extension for World of Warcraft – Shadowlands.
Among other known problems, AMD warns that users may have accidents when raytracing is enabled in Metro Exodus, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Battlefield V, Call of Duty : Modern warfare, and the call of duty: The Black Ops Cold War.

- Custom fan settings cannot be saved on Radeon RX 500 series graphics products after waking up from sleep mode.

- Disabling overlay performance metrics during a game can sometimes cause images to freeze or stutter.

- Mouse damage can occur when the graphical options of Serious Sam 4 for the Vulcan API are changed.
- Corruption can be observed on certain surfaces in Far Cry Primal on Radeon RX 5000 series graphics products.
Known problems
- The flashing brightness may be interrupted in some games when Radeon FreeSync is enabled and the game is set to full screen unlimited mode.
- Metro Exodus, Shadow of the Grave Robber, Battleground V, Duty Call: Modern warfare and the call to duty: When DirectX ray tracing is enabled, applications in Cold War Black Ops mode may temporarily freeze.
- Anisotropic filtering in Radeon Software graphics settings does not work in DirectX 9 applications on RDNA graphics products.
- Crysis Remastered can cause damage to the character models in the Radeon RX 6800 series graphics products.
- World of Warcraft: Shadowlands should not start if the DirectX 12 API is selected in the Windows 7 system configuration.
- Some games may stutter when setting up an unlimited full-screen mode and connecting a widescreen display using the Netflix window application to store windows on RDNA graphics products.
- AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series graphics products may not work with recording and streaming capabilities.
- In Battlefield V, reflections from the screen area on RDNA graphics products can cause flicker damage.
- If you change the HDMI zoom slider, the FPS can lock 30 times.
- The Performance Metric Overlay and Performance Tuning tabs mistakenly indicate higher than expected idle speeds on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products. Incorrect reporting has no effect on performance or power consumption.
- Advanced synchronization can cause a black screen in some games and system configurations. Any user who might have problems with the advanced synchronization function that is enabled should disable it as a temporary alternative.
