Zombie mode has become a popular feature in all Call of Duty games developed by Treyarch. Each Black Ops game comes with a new version of the mode, but only Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops that we finally saw a significant change to update the usual formula. It is these changes that have made the last iteration of Zombie the best, not only for beginners or veterans, but also for anyone who tries it, for many reasons.

The Zombie remake has introduced many more gifts for experienced players to unlock than anything else. First of all, each weapon is more durable and for the first time you can measure the damage you cause.
Players used to look for the best weapon in each game and use it for as long as possible, but if it wasn’t the best weapon to do damage, at some point it was useless. To date, almost all weapons are functional due to the damage levels and different levels of punch pack. This not only makes you feel super strong in the first few rounds, but also keeps you relevant in the game for a longer time.
This is no longer the case when external forces decide which weapons to use to succeed. If you have a personal favorite, these weapons can take you to much later rounds than in previous games.
Everything is simplified for new players
One of the biggest problems for zombies in the past was their difficulty. Many of these problems have been solved. Pack-a-Punch doesn’t keep you waiting for weapon updates, new markers indicate important areas and armour activation protects newcomers better than the shield produced in the past, without having to search for details to make it.
Even the weapons bought on the wall are better now, so you don’t have to rely on the secret box to survive. Although some aspects of Zombies have yet to be explained to beginners, this version is the most user-friendly for new players.
This version takes care of your time
A zombie game can take up a few hours of your time. Whether you try a simple Easter egg or go for the big rounds, there are many scenarios that allow you to extend your playing time. Sometimes you get to a point where you have to finish the game, but you don’t want to start with the pause menu. If a player wanted to end the game early, he either had to finish the main Easter egg or let the zombies kill it. After a long fight it’s not good to be killed by the enemy.
Now, for the first time in history, players can finish their games early without dying. The ex-movies offer an adrenaline-rich chance to finish the game without dying or receiving prizes. Activate a 20-lap mode to limit your playing time, and the new zombies make time management much more possible.
New update system makes significant progress
For the first time in the history of Call of Duty zombies, your player level will play a role as the etherium crystals are upgraded. It’s hard to believe that this is the first time a Perks can be upgraded, but the system makes it necessary wherever possible.
Updates must be unlocked at the level of the player, but because crystals are fairly easy to buy, you will be set for an update that plays just enough. I hope that enough content will be added in the future so that players always have something to update. Yet the etherium crystal is a great success for a diet that has never seen anything like it.
The different iterations of Call of Duty Zombies have always been a great moment for the fans. However, as with Call of Duty in general, this mode needed major updates after more than a decade of releases.
Zombies used to be very difficult, there wasn’t much room for improvement. With Call of Duty: During the Cold War of the black operators, Treyarh finally took the right steps to revive this regime. For all their value, the games of the past have never reached the level of availability, tuning and fun of today’s games, and so far only one card has been issued. The sky is the limit of what we can see in the future for Call of Duty zombies.
