For example, in my last post I talked about the fact that the fire of the soul is a byproduct of forced evolution through transmutation and dissolution, and that this form of darkness works in contrast to the arc of light. After I posted this, several people asked me in comments what I thought darkness was versus the emptiness of light.
Now that it’s done, I already had a working theory and thought it would be better to share it in this post. Besides, I think we’ve seen this dark power and its effects many times, both in tradition and in the game itself. This is a long post, but I guarantee it’s worth reading.
But before I begin, for those who have not followed my previous articles, here is a summary of what I believe to be the scientific nature of light and darkness.

Our vacuum capacities act as spikes, allowing us to reach this vacuum and seemingly pull something out of nothing in the form of a void of light. If the use of emptiness allows us to bring something out of nothingness, it would be logical to assume that anything that exists in darkness can turn something into nothingness.
Dark Matter
What we perceive as a thing is often determined by our ability to interact with it in nature, to see and feel something with our senses and, ultimately, by our interaction with fundamental forces.
It is assumed that dark matter does not interact with fundamental forces except gravity. In fact, the only way to know it exists is literally the influence of gravity. If you encountered dark matter in real life, you would probably never know it exists because it does not emit photons of light that your eyes could detect and does not interact with the electrostatic forces of your fingers. And the gravitational effect will be too weak to detect.
Dark matter is indeed dark, and yet when we manipulate quantum fluctuations with the vacuum, we suddenly see flashes of light from the vacuum known as axion scattering and darts.
The ossies are hypothetical particles of cold dark matter.

By controlling the vacuum with light, we are essentially illuminating matter. The conversion of dark matter into light matter. Something tangible that we can see and feel. Arc Retreat,

So there is reason to believe that the antithesis obscures the issue. The paracause prevents the regular interaction of matter with light. I think we’ve seen it before and we have three legendary entries to back up my case.
March, Mercury, Titan, and Io
Perhaps most remarkable is the fate of these two planets and moons. After we saw the arrival of the pyramids, we saw them hanging in the air for weeks. So it wasn’t long before, beyond the light, we witnessed the reconstruction of the walker – darkness began to roll in, and only the light of the walkers stopped the pyramids.
After those planets and moons disappear… We take a look as Osiris visits these worlds.
Saturn mourns the loss of Titan. A church jewel that once plunged into the abyss. Instead, there is an anomaly, dark and bounded by gravitational lenses.
Phobos and Deimos gravitate around the tomb of Mars, where the depths linger, hungry and seeking the small moons that have fallen under its influence.
We understand then that they are still there, but the influence of darkness has plunged them into a dark void that the stars can only perceive through the gravitational lens of light passing where the asteroid was.
It’s not a black hole or a singularity. The moons Phobos and Deimos are still orbiting Mars as if nothing had happened. They’re getting darker.

We can conclude that the pyramid is able to manipulate the zero point field of the quantum vacuum such that once the projectiles enter the field, their material properties no longer interact with the universe as a whole.
Cosmogira and octopus mare
Yang Liwei’s encounter with the abyss is further evidence of this.
The stars have fallen out. The universe has gone black: A shroud of nothingness has settled over Ian Levey, his forty thousand sleeping passengers, his nine hundred crew members, and perhaps the entire solar system. Again, physical evidence that the vacuum is being manipulated. The crew also detects gravitational waves when under the influence of darkness.
Everything in the ship is simultaneously compressed and stretched as the gravitational wave metrically distorts space-time. Is it a ghost? Lee, like the crowd on his ship, needs a subsonic plan. This ghost ship sends up these waves?
The same effects are observed during the eruption on Titan in Kraken-Mar.
We are dealing with enormous tidal forces of unknown origin. Our physics group detects mass noise, phantom shocks and sterile neutrino diffusion. Possible origin: compact object of dark matter, lambda field effects, or polarized gravitational apparatus.
At this point we are starting to get a clearer picture of exactly what is happening.
Dark energy and repulsive gravity
Here’s something to settle.
Phages are dark photons. Ordinary photons transport light between ordinary matter. So we can assume that phages carry dark energy packets between dark matter.
Sterile Neutrinos

Cosmological constant

Einstein abandoned this concept and most scientists believed that the constant was zero. This was before the amazing discovery in 1998 that the universe is not only expanding, but accelerating! The cosmological constant is back in fashion.
Since the 1990s, research has shown that about 68% of the mass-energy density of the universe is due to so-called dark energy. This mysterious dark energy creates a repulsive force that balances the gravity of matter in the universe.
We now know that according to quantum field theory, the cosmological constant is the energy density of space, or vacuum energy, which appears in general relativity.
Dark energy is therefore closely related to zero vacuum energy and gravitational waves.
But I believe the third force of darkness is a special kind of dark energy.
Phantom energy
In 2008, some string theorists introduced the concept of repulsive phantom energy, a type of dark energy.
They found two types of stable solutions:
- A child universe isolated from the mother universe (essentially a universe in a black hole).
- A villainous universe that is not isolated from its parent universe.
This second type of universe is troubling because when it begins to go through its inflationary cycle, it does so by absorbing the spacetime of the parent universe. The mother universe is wiped out while the villain universe develops in its place.
Phantom energy would make the vacuum unstable and cause negative mass particles to erupt. It would even tear the universe apart, so that objects could no longer interact by fundamental forces, even within atoms.
Thus, instead of making dark matter exchangeable like vacuum, this form of dark energy can instead tear the seams of ordinary matter.
Quantum shift
What would such an energy field look like in such a situation?
Since we know that dark energy is related to zero point fields and vacuum fluctuations, we can get an idea of what empty light and phantom energy will look like.
Atoms can be thought of as having different energy levels that determine where the electrons are in orbit, and what we think of as light and color are the wavelengths emitted as the electrons move from one orbit to another.
The lowest orbit is the ground state or vacuum state, and all energy orbits of the atom are related to the ground state of the atom. Thus, the change in soil state affects all other energy states.
When we reduce the wavelength of the orbit of the ground state with the vacuum, the wavelengths of light emitted by the atom move toward the violet end of the spectrum.
However, if you increase the wavelength of the Earth’s orbit, the wavelengths of the emitted light decrease, and the red light goes to the red end of the spectrum.
So if the void is blue-violet, we can assume that its opposite would be red.

So now I want to talk about where we might have seen this dark phantom energy already, and how this energy might react to the world if we ever get it as an underclass. I believe this ability allows us to exercise power over physicality, or rather over what makes something material and tangible. I also believe that this force can have a strong gravitational repulsive effect.
Nightmares
The nightmares and ghosts manifested by the lunar pyramid on the moon are perhaps the most obvious. They are semi-material beings that in some cases are more durable than their material counterpart (joy) and even have brief moments of invincibility. They are also accompanied by a bright red appearance and complex dark veins.
I believe that since the Pyramid of the Moon is inactive, it represents its latent energy that allows it to manifest spirits by disrupting the quantum vacuum in its area of influence. We even saw a red aura around the moon during the shadows.
Master
Barrier champions create a red bubble around them that our normal weapons cannot penetrate. Overworked champions heal themselves, and unstoppable champions have great power. They are all wrapped in a purple aura.
Attacker
Once you pass through the invasion gate, you are enveloped in a red aura and can briefly move undetected, see your enemies as red ghosts through the walls with the truth, and are harder to kill than your usual guard.
Again, I think this could be a manifestation of the dark energy that allows us to distort our own bodily integrity, making it harder to give in to blows, but also to see the signature of the dark protector phaeton running through ordinary matter.

aura. This can be explained by the fact that the fears are low and therefore not fully accepted. We can witness the taking of that darkness.
Red Death, Diamond and Red Spectrum
It’s one of the connections I made a while ago.
The Red Death and its successor Crimson are forbidden weapons in the Crucible. In practice, they function like Thorn, but instead of doing damage over time, they immediately heal when the enemy dies.
Vanguard policy is for the Guardians to destroy these weapons on the spot. It’s the Killer Guardian.

This is perhaps one of the most sinister links, for we know that the Nine is made up of strands of dark matter dust that have entered consciousness through the gravitational pull of life in the solar system.
The Nine are currently divided into two factions. One faction, consisting of five members, seeks to study and use the Light for its own purposes, and is responsible for sending the Syur and the Emissary to communicate with the Guardians. (They were angry after we killed Ahamkara and then targeted us because of our connection to the paracausal light).
The other four seek to free themselves from their dependence on matter-based life and light and to that end experiment with the creation of their own kingdoms through space-time engineering and the creation of dark matter-based black holes that would serve as gravity foci independent of those offered by the realm of normal matter.
I am convinced that the Nine, like other races in the Destiny universe, are also promised redemption. The other 5 still look to the light, but the other 4 may see this dark ghostly energy as the key to their salvation.
