The Best Electric Type Pokemon From All Generations
As with the previous generation, the third-generation Pokemon games were all about looking for Electric-type Pokemon (Electric monsters, or EM for short). However, many of the Pokemon that were in generation two (the most popular of the three) were not brought over to the popular third generation. So to find the best Electric Type Pokemon in the 3rd generation, I did a little research to find which Pokemon I could give Electric-type to, and which Pokemon had the best moves. I also thought about how Mega Evolutions could be incorporated into the mix, as they are a new feature in the 3rd generation. With all that in mind, I came up with the list of Pokemon I would use, and this is my Top 10 Electric
… He is a very good competitive player, and will no doubt make a formidable threat in his new role. It will be interesting to see what he does with this new position, as historically he has been an excellent wallbreaker, and this new role may well encourage him to take a more offensive approach. The man is a fantastic player, and even if you don’t like him, it’s hard to argue with his achievements, as he has enjoyed some success, and has been a key part of the revitalization of the UK competitive scene.. Read more about all electric type pokémon and let us know what you think.Despite its unlikely status as a starter, the Electric-type Pokémon is a good choice in any lineup.
Not only is the Electro-type Pokémon a good opponent for flying types and slippery water types, but it has a lot more to offer than just thunder and lightning attacks.
If you’re looking for a good Lightning-type Pokémon to add to your roster, or if you just want to have some fun, here are our top Electric-type Pokémon from generation I to VIII.
Statistically, there are many other Pokémon that deserve a place on this list. But in terms of growth potential, no other Pokémon can match it. And let’s not forget our dear Pikachu’s contribution to Ash’s victory in the Alola League.
Pikachu is the most talked about Pokémon in the franchise and will remain relevant throughout the series. As with any franchise, the benefit of being relevant is that they get bonuses or new forms from time to time.
We’ve all seen how many variations of the Pikachu family have appeared since the first generation. Pichu, Pikachu Cosplay, Alolan Raichu, and the Gigantamax form, it’s not unreasonable to say we’ll see even stronger versions in the future.
With the Mega Evolution concept already out of the way, many fans are eager to see everyone’s favorite Pokémon in its most powerful form.
When it comes to a combination of speed and firepower, there are few Pokémon that can beat Jolteon. It surpasses the other Pokémon on this list in terms of popularity among users.
The Jolteon is characterized by high speed and a sp. Attacking stats that almost guarantee a strong first attack. The downside is that he can’t take many hits, making Jolteon a glass cannon.
But the strengths mask the major weaknesses. Under the right circumstances, Jolteon can grow into a powerful fighter who can defeat his opponents before they can take advantage of his weak defense.
3. Electric cross
Manektrik is a more balanced Electro-type Pokémon compared to Jolteon. Although its speed and power are a lot lower than that of a 1st level electric quadruped. Manektrik, now in its third generation, remains one of the fastest Pokémon and deserves to be a basic Electric-type fighter.
But what puts him at the top of our list is Mega Evolution’s ability to make him even faster, tougher, and more destructive than his original form.
Long-time fans have known the true value of this Pokémon since its debut in the second generation. Ampharos is the first choice of electric type for individual and competitive play.
Although his cruising speed puts him at the bottom of the electric list, he makes up for it with his high base SP, his atk. He also has balanced HP and defense stats that allow him to survive a hit before striking back.
Ampharos’ mega-evolutionary form takes his destructive power to a whole new level. That’s the way it is. The Atk. is the second highest of all electric types and also gives a significant boost to defensive stats.
He also gains unique advantages by becoming Dragon-Type and gaining the Shape-Shattering ability, which nullifies the opponent’s Pokémon abilities.
Xurkitri belongs to the category of ultra-violent Pokémon featured in Pokemon Sun and Moon. If you’re looking for an Electric-type Pokémon that can make speed, you’ve come to the right place.
While the other indicators are just above average, the base is sp. Atk. is the highest of all electricity types. Given Xurkitree’s Beast Boost skill, which increases its highest score after destroying another Pokémon, it’s a true beast worthy of its name.
Perhaps Xurkitree’s only notable weakness is its lack of stats in other areas. It can be increased by the right character and use of consumables.
Xurkitri can also learn grass and beetle attack techniques to compensate for some of her elemental weaknesses.
This Pokémon is an Electro/Spirit type that can possess Devices and acquire other Elemental Traits.
His HP is relatively low, but he makes up for it with very high defense and Sp. Defense Statistics.
His ability to gain elemental resistance also increases Rotom’s usefulness and survivability. Thanks to its versatility, Rotom can find a place in any team.
His most notable form, Rotom W, gives him a combination of electric and water type abilities plus the ability to levitate, leaving only grasses as a weakness.
Electivire is a Pokémon with balanced attack, defense, and speed. It has the highest Atk of any Electro Pokémon, making it a physical attacker rather than relying on normal Thunderbolts.
The Electivire has the Motor Drive skill, which allows it to gain speed when hit by other electric moves. In addition to his high Atk score, he can also learn all the basic hitting techniques, which allows him to win even bad matches.
Magneson is a tough and powerful Steel and Electric Pokémon.
It is also one of the few Pokémon with the Magnetic Suit trait, which prevents other Steel-type enemies from escaping.
His second Sturdy trait prevents a one-shot knockout and ensures that at least one lightning bolt or thunderbolt hits the target.
While its base stats are not enough to qualify this Pokémon as a true tank, Magnezone has excellent Sp stats. His offense, defense, and resistance to the elements still make him quite a force.
Raikou is one of the three legendary beasts of Yohto, and for good reason.
Raikou’s overall defensive performance is above average, allowing him to absorb some damage. But Raikou’s greatest strength lies in his superiority in Atk, Sp. Atk and speed.
Unlike most Pokémon that specialize in one type of attack, Raiko can perform both physical and special fast attacks.
Zapdos, one of the three legendary birds of the Kanto region and the Pokemon spirit of Team Instinct, is loved by fans old and new.
Zapdos has incredible power in almost every area. But what makes him worthy of his legendary title is the synergistic combination of his electric and flying qualities.
Zapdos’ properties as a flying Pokémon give it an advantage over grass and ground attacks. At the same time, its electrical properties make it resistant to electrical attacks.
This combination reduces Zapdos’ weakness to the elements and adds more power to his arsenal.
Like Zapdos, Thundurus is a legendary Pokémon with Flight and Electric attributes. However, Thundurus offers many more attack options than Zapdos. That’s because Tundurus has two forms.
His first form, Incarnate Form, gives Tundurus excellent Atk and Sp. Atk stats plus good speed with them.
In his second form, the Therian form, Thundurus loses a level speed and Atk stats and seems to convert them into Sp. Atk to perform powerful special attacks on your opponents.
The only obvious drawback to Thundurus is the lack of HP and defensive stats. But make no mistake, Thundurus is still a legendary Pokémon and won’t give in without a fight.
The mythical Thunderbolt Pokémon lives up to its name, exemplifying speed and power. It is the second-fastest Pokémon in the Electric category, one level below Electrode, and few Pokémon can handle its first turn.
As a Mythical Pokémon, it has high Atk and Sp. Atk. Although his HP and defensive stats leave a lot to be desired, the first round could be the difference between winning and losing.
14. Tapu Koko
Tapu Koko is a special Pokemon that is considered one of the protective gods of Melemele Island in Alola.
Being both an Electric Pokémon and a Fairy Pokémon, it is the fastest of its Fairy counterparts. Even in the electric Pokémon category, it is still at the top.
Although his other stats are slightly lower than those of other legendary creatures, Tapu Koko’s ability creates an electric field when he enters the field, supporting other electric types in group battles.
Pokémon Black Zekrom is a fifth-generation legendary Pokémon that is probably the most powerful Electric-type Pokémon in existence. There are several stories about this elusive legendary Pokémon, but they all point to it helping noble causes and destroying kingdoms with evil hearts.
Zekrom has the highest total stat points and the highest HP of any electrical type.
Combined with excellent base stats in all aspects and the strengths of Electric and Dragon-type Pokémon, Zekrom deserves the title of Legendary.
Zekrom’s Teravolt ability ignores the opponent’s ability to affect Zekrom’s attacks and inflicts full damage.
Short and sweet
After the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield, a few notable Electro-types were added to the list. Honorable mentions go to Toxitry and Dracozolt.
But since they’re new to the franchise, we’re still exploring how they can top some of the best Pokémon on this list.

In every generation of Pokemon, there are a wide variety of different Pokemon that fulfill a variety of different roles, and this can cause a lot of confusion as to what type they are. Who is the god of electric Pokemon?
I know what you’re thinking: “Steven, what the heck is an electric Pokemon?” When I first heard about it, I thought the same thing. I don’t know about you, but I hadn’t seen any electric Pokemon in the Pokemon games I played growing up.
