If you’re in the market for some new enemies to steal from in a game you’re making, whether you’re building a rogue-like or RPG, you’re in for a treat. You’ll find some of the best enemies to steal from from the following games:
I’m not here to judge. If you want to be a crafty thief in Spear, that’s fine.
At least you’re stealing from enemies who want to steal the shine from your eyes, that’s a little better.
In FFX, the probability of a flight is fixed. The first catch has a 100% chance, the second 50%, the third 25%, and so on. You can fly endlessly, but such a life will not be profitable. These are the probabilities.
In addition, each demon has a common item and a rare item. The odds are 75/25 in both cases. The pickpocket skill evens the odds at 50/50, and the master thief skill ensures that you only steal rare items. So it’s really convenient!
But which enemies are worth stealing from? Let’s take a look at them and rank them in order of appearance throughout history.
5. Basil – Joe’s Highroad
You can steal the petrification grenade from Basilisk. Flight 1 is common and flight 2 is rare.
If you manage to steal 10 of them, you can synthesize the Stonetouch on some weapons.
And if you’re really inspired, you can fly 60 and formulate Stonestrike (essentially an improved form of the same weapon skill).
And if you want a more advanced defense, you can synthesize stone power on armor with 20 petrifaction grenades.
And of course you can always throw grenades at your enemies.
So yeah, somewhere around Joz, it’s a good time to stop and smell the roses a bit.
4. Biran and Enke Ronso – Mountain Gagazet
Remember, Kimahri had to become a badass lion and learn to fly to enjoy this heist.
At this stage of the game, it’s quite feasible. To do this, just play with Kimahri in combat…..
And if you level up enough, you can finally kick Fanboy and Chum Chum’s ass in a historic battle.
But first, grease Kimahri’s furry palms and pick her pockets to teach her manners.
A normal flight here is only a Lv. 3, and a rare flight of two Key Spheres Lv. 3 domains.
You can steal a total of 4 of these before the odds become the same as the Powerball.
And if you manage to get Lv. 3 key spheres here, Kimahri Holy can learn before Yuna. But there are many other ways to use these level 3 keys, so they are very useful.
3. Fallen monks – Ruins of Zanarkand
The once living monks carry the purifying salt.
And you can rarely take that away from them.
This item deals damage to the opponent and casts Dispel, so it is very useful to have it.
But if you mix 30, you can synthesize No Clash on an armor. That’s even better!
It may not be very useful at first – unless you’re a speedrunner.
But if you plan on playing the game 100%, avoiding random encounters will keep you from going crazy. So it’s good that we’re trying to get it sooner rather than later.
2. Mimic – Omega Ruins
In the ruins of Omega, fight a box called ? (I think his parents forgot to register his birth certificate).
If you attack it, destroy it and you might get an item.
But if you use Steal and the Nothing to Steal text box appears, then Mimic appears.
They’re pretty nasty.
But if you manage to kill them, you’ll receive 50,000 gold pieces!
Do double duty with Gillionaire, put on your best makeup, and wait for Forbes to call you for their new cover.
1. Weapons of Ultima – Omega Ruins
Ultima Weapon is the boss of Omega Ruins, and it’s not a very nice boss.
But you can steal 10 or 20 Gates of Tomorrow.
Why risk your life for a door? Good question.
Before you start the Great Sharpening, you definitely need the Future Gate, as you can synthesize these items in the Overdrive -> AP skill.
When you wear this item on your weapon, all of each Overdrive character’s charges are converted to AP. In this way you quickly reach a maximum in the marble grid.
