Busy
You can spend your days doing fun activities like bug fishing and angling. Grow your own fresh plants! Everything you do gives you experience, and therefore your character rises in rank and gets rewards.
Moving around the island is the main task when you start the game, and you’ll have to do a lot of running from one character to another. So it’s best to know where everything is in the game, so you don’t wander around aimlessly and waste your precious time. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can also use the – button on the switch to get a scaled-down view of your island.

You can’t navigate in this view, but you can see where everything is with the handy name tags.
If you want to explore most of the island, you’ll need puzzle pieces. The only way to get them is to do chores for the islanders or buy them at the store. To find out who has to complete the quest, you can press the + key and a menu will appear.

Meaning of menu icons
The top menu icon represents your bag and what it contains. If you go to the second icon, you will find daily tasks to be completed within a certain time frame.
On the same page, you can also use the R-shoulder button to see who needs attention. It indicates who wants to do the quest, what the quest is, and your reward for completing the quest.

The next icon is the shopping cart, where you can buy items with earned gems, upgrade tools, buy seeds, furniture, fish food and seasonal items.
On the clothes rack icon in the next row you’ll find clothes, hairstyles, shoes and clothing accessories that you can buy to adorn your character with the latest fashions of the island.
The next icon is the trophy, and it speaks for itself, as it shows all 40 achievements in the game.

What you can do on your island
Shake those trees. Shaking can lead to unexpected surprises, such as. B. A fruit that fell from a tree of the same species. You can plant these fruits individually, but you will want to plant most of the ones you can shake. Every little helps!
Keep an eye on your trees – If you want them to keep bearing fruit that you can sell or use to plant new trees, they need to be watered after you harvest the fruit. You will see a water drop symbol near the trees. If it’s visible, it’s time to grab the watering can.
Planting Plants – Use the designated fenced area for planting plants. Press Y to open the tool menu and choose a rake, press A to equip it. With the A-key you assemble the finished plants and with the Y-key you use the tools you are equipped with.

Take care of yourself
Reclamation – You will encounter trash as you walk along the sandy beaches of your new home, and you will need to remove it. Collect all those used tires and broken TVs and sell them at the store for a small profit. Money in your pocket and a clean island is a happy home.
Become an insect catcher – from time to time you will find insects all over the island begging to be caught. Get the net, now you have to sneak up on them, because if you go too fast, they will run away. Concentrate on approaching them slowly from behind and you’ll be fine. Another way to catch them is to stand where you think the insect is flying, and you might get lucky.
Dig diligently. Dig up the stumps to beautify your island. Use a shovel to dig up unsightly tree stumps. You can fill the hole with earth. Or put a piece of fruit or a pine cone to grow another plant. You can also plant flowers, they don’t take long to grow.

Puzzle Pieces – Unlock new parts of the island by finding puzzle pieces. Then go to the broken bridge and connect them to the puzzle. Each set of puzzles, nine in all, unlocks a new part of the island. Find only the pieces of one puzzle at a time to avoid accidentally running out of pieces, or to unlock the island faster. You can also buy puzzle pieces from the shop, but this will cost you money and you’ll need to save gems to upgrade the buildings.
