Latest Flight Simulator updates, fixes and improvements

The latest 1.15.7.0 update for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been released, adding France and Benelux to the game, as well as many fixes and improvements to the overall title. Asobo Studio has released detailed information about the new additions and a full list of patches on its official website, which shows what players can expect after downloading the latest patch for the game.

Since the release of Flight Simulator, the developer has released additional content for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the form of new highly detailed areas, airports, events, bug fixes and more. The latest update, 1.15.7.0, does exactly that, adding France and the three neighbouring Benelux countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The game has many additional points of interest that players can discover by flying over their city. Below is the full list of patches, as listed on the game’s official website:

USER INTERFACE

Screens that do not light up in rare circumstances have been fixed.

The calculations of altitude and standard altitude have been corrected to correct the behaviour of the altimeter (the altitude is now correctly calculated based on the setting of the altitude pressure and the external pressure).
The Diamond DA40NG updates speed, roll and fuel consumption.

SDK/DevMode

General Information

A new feature has been added to the DevMode toolbar to alert you when a new version is available for download. It also contains notes about the update and previous updates.
Improved DevMode font, which can be blurry on some screens.
Added an airport wizard to make creating new airports easier
New option to set the flag if the package is for Xbox and/or PC. This is mainly related to the preparation of some transparent changes in the backend and should not affect your current work. Select this option only if you plan to publish your content via Xbox Marketplace in the future.
