CD PROJEKT RED has released a list of changes for Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2, which will soon be available on consoles, PC and stages. It includes hundreds of changes in categories such as gameplay, quests, cinematic design and environment. There are also technical improvements for graphics, audio, animation, user interface and more. CD PROJEKT RED noted that not all players experienced the problems mentioned in the patch notes.
AMD GPU owners can now enable ray tracing with the appropriate drivers. Added a new mod folder for PC users; modified archives can now have arbitrary names. SSR and TAA issues have been fixed in the console versions. Improved menu navigation and logic for loading the last test point if no saved file is available. The renderer and memory usage are optimized to reduce random errors. The full changes are set out below.

Gameplay
- The range of action of the PNC for cases where a player commits a foul has been increased.
- Added a new directionality slider in the control settings. Activates steering speed reduction for all vehicles on all input devices. Especially useful for keyboard users.
- Adaptation of the vehicle’s steering code for better performance at low and extremely high frame rates for more stable results. Significant improvement to the controls on the base consoles.
- Added a tilt/swivel function for all vehicles. Use the left mini-joystick or A/D W/S or LShift/LCtrl to pan and turn for stuck/hidden vehicles and try to free them.
- Minor adjustments to the handling of certain vehicles to improve steering and prevent excessive body roll and oversteer.
- Fixed an issue where targeting under the Berserker cyberware moved the crosshair without player intervention.
- Adjustment of the firing rate of the helicopter turret in love as fire.
- Police cars are no longer immediately shot after entering Kerry’s car during the riot! Rebel!
- Fixed a problem where the missile launching system was not underpowered.
- Disabled attack response for friendly NPCs.
- Fixed bug where captured enemies would play vocal lines as if the player was hitting them.
- With the Zetatech Sandevistan MK. 1 Cyber software now correctly slows down time.
- The player can no longer undo the fall damage by performing a slide action when about to fall from a greater height.
- There is no longer a possibility of using gorilla weapons against civilians.
- Fixed a problem where the V could be pushed too far by a car accelerating.
- When V takes a body that contains a quest item, that item is now automatically added to your inventory.
- Fixed problem where citizens running away from the driver could react incorrectly.
- If you capture or trap an NPC with a burn or EMP status, that status will now transfer to the player.
- Improved interaction with forklift trucks.
- Fixed an issue where dodging immediately after the end of the Kerensikov cybernetic program effect caused the V to advance a great distance.
- Fixed an issue where enemies would not fall to the ground after being killed with Synapse Burnout.
- Fixed an issue where the Breach protocol was not working properly against Sasquatch.
- Fixed an issue that prevented hidden placids from being removed.
- Shortened Quick Hack damage over time no longer comes from defeated enemies.
- Cyberpsychopaths and minibosses are now immune to tranquilizers and the reset of the Quickhack system.
- Fixed an issue where reducing cold stacking by more than 100% could block fast hacks.
- V can no longer use consumables in situations where the context of the scene does not allow it.
- Clothing stores are now selling merchandise more suited to the location.
- The cat food needed for Nibbles is now available at various grocers in Night City.
- The premium points product TABULA E-RASA is now available at a reduced price.
- Reduction in the number of high value-added components required for the manufacture of cult products.
- Fixed an issue where the V could get stuck in empty buildings when exiting a car parked next to a wall.
- Data is now displayed correctly when scanning the Militech Manticore AV.

- Fixed an issue where throwing the carcass into the trunk could cause the vehicle’s engine to start.
- Fixed an issue where NPCs turning the wheel could interrupt the upper body animation.
- Gorilla weapon damage has been increased by 20%.
- Reduced prices on Kirosha optical fragment recipes.
- Reduce the power of spinning NPCs.
- Fixed an issue where taking apart part of a stack gave the same amount of experience as taking apart the whole stack.
- Disassembling grenades now correctly displays common and uncommon parts.
- Pulling the retractable ladder does not kill the player when he is under the ladder.
- Fixed some door locks that could get stuck on enemy NPCs, preventing them from being killed.
- Fixed an issue where NPCs were switching to other NPCs too often.
- V should now automatically fire a loaded grenade when you enter safe areas.
- Fixed an issue where pedestrians could teleport after being hit by a vehicle.
- The transfer function is currently unlocked at level 20 and not at level 16 of the violation log. For players who have unlocked Transmigration to level 20 and have not yet reached that level, the property will be locked and the perk points for that property will be restored.
- Killing fallen cars V no longer after unlocking the rock bonus.
- Fixed an issue where changing weapons twice in inventory could cause them to not show up in game.

- AV collision resolved to prevent player from being pushed out or stuck in Suspicious actions against organized crime: The lure of the enemy.
- The fixed markers on the map sometimes deviate from the minimum.
- Fixed an issue where throwing multiple grenades in quick succession could cause V to not equip a grenade properly.

- Cyberpsycho in Cyberpsycho Sighting: The second chance should now respond correctly to the player’s distance attack.
- Solved the use of a cover for friendly NPCs.
- Problem solved where the Panam machine could fly into the air with a little help from friends.
- Fixed an issue where Delamain’s cabin didn’t work after leaving Afterlife in The Heist.
- Fixed the problem with other cars in The Beast Within: Under certain circumstances, the center of the city can be teleported, putting the player in last place.
- The car will no longer be lost if you miss a trip to the Piez restaurant with Joshua in the Sinnerman.
Requests
- Stadium Love posters can no longer be destroyed before the match (which may block progress).
- They won’t leave if I leave, but they will if V leaves the studio early.
- The inability to draw a weapon in a poppy farm while hunting has been remedied.
- Fixed an issue where using Bandit Wrestling could disrupt the action in Stadium Love.
- The pickup is no longer blocked if Dum Dum dies at the same time as the last opponent.
- Registration is no longer blocked when a player attacks Maelstrom before entering All Foods.
- You can now download vortices from a cracked militech separator if it was not used during retrieval.
- Penthouse of the Path of Glory is no longer available at the beginning of the game.
- A cyber-psychic show: The Bloody Ritual is now activated correctly, regardless of how the player approaches the quest area.
- Takemura’s appearance can now be seen in the holodeck of Life at War.
- Fixed bug where Rogue kept repeating the same sentence in Never Fade Away.

- Panam now correctly pronounces his final sentence in All Along the Watchtower.
- It is no longer possible to enter Delamain in the Badlands while riding a motorcycle, which can lead to accidents or getting stuck in third person.
- You cannot leave the quest area once you are in the Basilisk in Highway King.
- Fixed a bug where it was impossible to communicate with Panam if the player used fast movements during the final scene with the Highway Queen.
- Frank’s holo-call can no longer interrupt the conversation with the nomads at Basilisk on Highway King.
- Bob and Mitch no longer go through the tablet and will connect with a little help from my friends.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the player from receiving holo-calls when leaving the nomad camp immediately after delivering shelter to work with a little help from his friends.
- Nomads can no longer be trapped in the belly of the beast outside the Untouched Gate Nest in the Arasaka Tower.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from receiving voice calls when leaving the station during the game With Little Help from Friends.
- Additional contexts solved where Jackie could miss picking up outside the All Foods plant.
- V can no longer leave Jinguji in the middle of a fight with a cyberpsycho in bullets and block the progress of the quest.
- Calling Nancy from Dead Dance or running away from the club in the middle of the quest no longer blocks the progression of Holdin’ On.
- Fixed an issue where Totantz’s music would disappear when the player left the club and returned.
- Fixed an additional scenario where Dum Dum could be absent before entering Tozentanz in the Second Conflict.
- During Holdin’ On at Denny’s mansion, the environment will not change.
- No more guns may be used in Raymond Chandler’s evening brawl at the arcade. // You can’t shoot Indiana Jones at El Coyote Cojo anymore.
- You can now open Barry’s door from the inside after returning to his apartment in Happy Together.
- Happy Together now immediately fails when a player breaks the law in close proximity to national police officers.
- To achieve the objective Try to talk to Barry in a few hours at the end of Happy Together, the player must now leave the immediate area of Barry’s apartment and return in a few hours.
- When the Aldecaldos move or leave the Night City, all traces of their former camp are erased.
- As the Basilisk traverses the terrain, it is no longer possible to be blocked in combat in the Forward to Death move.
- Fixed bug where A Like Supreme didn’t start properly if the final scene of the Second Conflict was rushed.
- Fixed a bug where Second Conflict could be blocked if a player in Dance of Death ended up in an elevator with Nancy.
- The purpose of the first Braindance in the Hunt is now clearer.
- Kill in Name now automatically fails if the player fails Chippin’ In.
- Tom’s Diner’s television cannot be destroyed. If a player destroyed them before this update, this issue is now fixed and the messages are displayed correctly for games that are progressing in time.
- Fixed a rare scenario where a painting in the capsule was not displayed in Space Oddity.
- It is no longer possible to get stuck in the water of the power plant after leaving the area in a flash.
- Space Oddity no longer generates multiple tables that block quest progress.
- Fixed an issue where shutting down and returning after a briefing in the Storm theme was blocking quest progress.
- A cyber-psychic show: The smoke on the water won’t appear in the paper when it’s done.
- Fixed bug where the Kill in Name router was not interchangeable when the player left the quest area and returned.
- Automatic Love’s progress is no longer blocked by an invisible wall in Judy’s studio.
- Fixed an issue where A Like Supreme could freeze if the player rushed to the bathroom to take a pill before finishing a conversation with Nancy.
- Max Tuck will now be able to communicate with V, even though the cyberpsy was only shot before he arrived in Jinguji.
- In The Pickup, it is no longer possible to run both scenarios simultaneously: the peace treaty with Maelstrom and the fight against her.
- Jackie will no longer be stuck in All Foods when you get past the final boss fight against Royce.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn’t reach the Ember Lift in Nocturne OP55N1.
- Fixed an issue where the player would get stuck without a phone and gun if they left the shooting range before speaking to Wilson in Shoot the Thrill.
- Jesse should no longer disappear when he leaves the car in Burning Desire/Night Moves if the player took too long to get to the Ripperdock.
- Fixed bug where the player’s vehicle was hit by the map after colliding with a white truck in Burning Desire/Night Moves.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the player from accepting holo-calls if they left the monk without meditating in Imagine, Stairway to Heaven, Poem of Atoms or Gatherings on the Edge.
- Fixed an issue where the player was not always receiving Delamen’s holo calls in Epistrophe.
- Destroying Delamain of the Northern Oak no longer prevents the player from talking to the monk of the Atomic Poem.
- Fixed a problem where the law could get stuck on the Talk to Jefferson item.
- Fixed an issue where the player was leaving both sides, so the quest area could prevent the player from starting other side quests.
- Maiko is really dying now that he has been pushed into the fish by the H8 mega building.
- Judy no longer follows the player through the world after leaving the quest area before entering the Braindance studio in Disasterpiece.
- Fixed an issue where V could get stuck in one of the dollhouse booths during Auto Love.
- Fixed an issue where Coin Operated Boy could be blocked if the player did not immediately speak to Brendan after seeing him speak to the girl.
- Fixed an issue in Spaces Between where a conversation with Fingers wouldn’t start if V walked into the office through a window.
- Fixed an issue where Panam could skip quest-related dialogue options before entering the Basilisk in Queen of the Road.
- A cyber-psychic show: Lex Talionis is now correctly identified on the map.
- Fixed an issue in The Beast Within where leaving the quest area too soon before Claire reached her car resulted in the player not being able to start other quests.
- The problem of the beast in me is solved: Racing Santo Domingo and Day in the Life can be active, but also present some problems.
- Fixed an issue where fast-forwarding the scene with Sandra Dorsett in the bathroom in Rescue resulted in the trauma team not going out onto the balcony.
- Added a physical reward from Regina for defeating all the cyber-psychics in her office.
- Fixed an issue where Takemura didn’t always call back after going out on his own to explore in Gimme Danger.

- The quest icon is now correctly removed from Johnny’s clothing set after unlocking the exciting achievement.
- It is no longer possible to secure the film Blister of Love for the Silver Pixel Cloud cinema.
- Fixed an issue where delays in Thundering Love could block quest progress.
- The villain will no longer disappear if the player has swallowed Blistering Love pills for too long.
- Fixed an issue where Rogue wouldn’t leave his car when he arrived at the Silver Pixel Cloud theater in Blistering Love.
- Fixed a bug where the player could not continue with the main story after completing the search and destroy action.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the player from talking to Theo in Coin-Operated Boy.
- Problem solved with the location of the cyberpsycho: On Deaf Ears would not have been considered completed if V had killed the cyberpsycho before the holo-call meme with Regina had ended. For players who have already completed the quest, it will be marked as completed.
- The item Talking to Kirk is now correctly marked on the map in Little Man, Big Mouth.
- Resetting the autosave made during the Ebunike encounter during Chippin’ In no longer causes Johnny’s dialogue to repeat.
- Fixed issue where Grayson could become immortal while meeting Ebunika in Chipping Ina if he was found on the lower deck or attacked from afar.
- Fixed a bug that could prevent a player from leaving the quest area in Chippin’ In by car.

- You can now talk to Mitch about tank training and complete the optional task in We Must Live Together.
- You can no longer be prevented from drinking and interacting with veterans in We Must Live Together.
- Fixed an issue in Pickup where the player could start a fight with Royce while outside of All Foods, blocking the progress of the quest.
- Fixed an issue causing the door to Lizzie’s Bar to close when the player chose to walk away from the Information entrance.
- Fixed an issue where calling Wakako from the diary during a conversation with Judy could block both conversations.
- Misty can no longer be killed by a stray bullet in Heroes.

- Fixed an issue that could block the passage to the Wraiths’ lair if the player had left the quest halfway through Riders on the Storm.
- Fixed an issue that allowed progress to be blocked when performing a save/load cycle when exiting the Wraith lair through the horseman’s pipe during a storm.
- The mission objective is now updated correctly when the player storms through the chimney to find Saul in Riders to the Storm.
- You can now go to camp alone without waiting for Panama in Riders on the Storm.
- It is no longer possible to activate the pyramid song by going back to the search area and jumping in if it has already failed.
- Skippy now correctly counts NPCs killed or defeated with him, regardless of mods and cyberware installed. Conversations with Skippy will adapt more dynamically to the player’s actions.
- Firearms can now be used in the entire back parking lot of the Batty Hotel.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the player from talking to NCPD agents at the beginning of Happy Together.
- The happy union will fail immediately if NCPD agents discover V with a dead body.
- Fixed an issue where the jacket was inaccessible if the player looted and took it apart before talking to Kirk in the Little Man, Big Mouth quest.
- Mama Brigitte now always reports correctly to Vee in the transfer.
- The Placid conversation is no longer interrupted by other conversations in I Walk the Line.
- Fixed an issue where Doom Doom could be present in Dead Dance during the Second Conflict and become hostile to V, blocking progress even if he was killed during the pickup.
- Fixed an issue where guards would not move away from the elevator door in Nocturne Op55N1 if the player walked backwards from the door.
- Fixed bug that prevented the player from selecting a target after pressing AV in The Corpo Council.
- In Corpo-Rata, it is no longer possible to leave the basketball court at Lizzie’s Bar early.
- Fixed a bug where the player could not move after losing a rhino fight in a brother fight.
- Fixed bug where you couldn’t talk to Jackie after the scene with Victor in The Ripperdoc.
- Fixed an issue where Mahlstromers were not born if the player used a different path to get to Nancy’s room instead of following Patricia into the Second Conflict.
- Fixed an issue where players could not use certain skills under certain circumstances if they rode River in I Fought The Law and then canceled the quest.
- Fixed an issue where Nancy could disappear while being escorted out of Dead Dance during the Second Conflict.
- Fixed an issue where the elevator in Totantz could stop on the second floor instead of the first after V interacted with his tablet during the Second Conflict.
- Delay now rings only once when V is near the lost taxi in the epistrophe (instead of ringing every time V is near the lost taxi).
- Fixed an issue that prevented equipment from being properly removed or items from being lost in the garbage man’s apartment in Sweet Dreams.
- In Song of the Prophet, it is no longer possible to destroy the machine with the mysterious conspirators, preventing the player from looting the chip.
- It is no longer possible to kill Harry after he killed the Nomads in Song of the Prophet, so it can now be completed. The log entry is deleted.
- Fixed an issue where interacting with Misty in her shop was not possible if the player left Heroes in the middle of a quest to hunt the Fool on the Hill.
- Completing Psycho Killer now rewards the player with experience.
- Increase the value of Liam’s bribe to Nasilia.

The open world
- Fixed an issue where it was impossible to destroy a flamingo if they were destroyed before the target became active in Epistrophy: Rancho Coronado.
- Collisions while driving will no longer be random, allowing V to crash into buildings and fall out of the world.
- Destroyers no longer become indestructible after loading saves.
- Fixed a bug where some NCPD flights were not marked as completed after looting the item container.
- Fixed an issue where achievements were not always released after completing a district activity.
- Unfortunate concert: No other refurbishers will block access to the vacant lot.
- Fixed an issue where NCPD battles were not always counted correctly for jungle achievement.
- Fixed an issue where collecting an extra reward did not end correctly with a concert: No equipment.
- Fixed problem where V could not communicate with computer and download virus to Gig: Lack of empathy.
- Some parts of the group cannot be completed before the joint award of the contract: Councilman Cole’s exuberance.
- Hwangbo will no longer be stuck in the car at Giga: Cheetah flight, which can lead to stalled progress.
- Fixed an issue where V could sometimes not talk to Anna Hamill during a concert: A woman from La Mancha.

Kinematic design
- Progress is no longer blocked if the player selects a body chain twice during a conversation with Hanako in the hideout during Search and Destroy.
- Fixed a bug that could block progress if the player reached Wakako before Takemura in Down on the Street.
- Takemura no longer teleports to Wakako if the player decides to go to Down on the Street alone.
- Fixed a problem with the camera when exiting the car at the beginning of The Last Weasels.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing a player from using the stairs in the Gimme Danger safe room.
- Jackie no longer disappears upon entering the elevator after making a peaceful agreement with the Maelstroms in The Pickup.
