GungHo Online Entertainment America (GOEA) announced that the GRANDIA HD collection for Nintendo SwitchTM will be released on the 16th. Released in August 2019, with a subsequent remastering of GRANDIA HD for PC. Additionally, the anniversary edition of GRANDIA® II (sold separately) on the PC will be renamed GRANDIA II HD Remaster.
Classic RPGs have been updated with improved graphics, handheld support on the Nintendo SwitchTM, and gamepad and keyboard support on Steam. Players will get their hands on two games that, for the first time, changed the RPG landscape forever with stunning HD graphics.

- Real-time, turn-based action – Experience and use a unique action bar system for real-time combat with distinct characters.
- Magic-based combat – Collect mana eggs to learn and use magic skills ranging from basic attacks to character enhancing magic for defense and a statistical bonus in attack.

- Earn skill points and take action! – Skill Points or Skill Pieces can be used to obtain incredibly intense moves that provide an unusual combat experience.
- Encounters with a Variety of Enemies – The worlds of GRANDIA and GRANDIA II bring forth many complex and epic enemies in nature, as well as important historical leaders.
- Melodic compositions that caress the ear – Discover the exploration of the world, the capital battles and the legendary game in perfect harmony with the musical compositions of the famous Japanese composer Noriyuki Iwadar.

The story is that of the mercenary Ryudo, whose mission is to protect the singer Elena. Originally released for Dreamcast in 2000 and PlayStation®2 in 2002, the game has won numerous awards, including the IGN Editor’s Choice Award and the EGM Gold Award. GRANDIA II Anniversary HD Remastered Edition was released on the 24th. August 2015 published on Steam. The anniversary edition of GRANDIA II is now available on Steam and GOG.
