We want to begin this TWAB with a reminder of the tragic events that took place earlier this week. The violence against the Asian-American community in Atlanta was not an isolated event. Recently, there has been an increase in hate crimes against Asian Americans in major American cities.
Everyone at Bungie stands by the Asian community during this difficult time, and our hearts go out to the victims of this senseless act and their families. One of our goals is to continue to build communities around our games where everyone feels safe to be who they are and free to make friends without fear of hate or discrimination.
Please support us by making a donation to help those in need. Donate, support and learn more about how you can help at imreadymovement.org.
Thank you for supporting our AAPI families and friends. Have fun with TWAB.
Grandmasters started this week at Bungie.
This week was the first of the worst nightmares, as the grandmasters took a trip to the devil’s lair. Fighting champions who will one day take on a familiar enemy, Sepix Prime. Since this is a night week, turn the music on before 11pm. If you’re interested in loot, you can try out PvE Adept weapons at your leisure. We saw many Guardians showing off their S.W.A.R.M. Adept machines and discovered a new mod : Big fan.
Not the Grandmasters? Great, we have some activities planned during the game for you. If you’re looking for a different flavor of chaos, Mayhem is next week. If this is not your style, we have another pot option.
Iron Banner
Lord Saladin has played a key role this season, with outspoken opinions on how to deal with the ongoing threats to Vanguard. But even if the battles go through the system, the fight for the Iron Banner must continue.
Iron Banner and Valor Bonus
10 h 23. March at 10:30. March
Iron Lord is coming next week with extra bonuses and a bunch of weapons. If you need a quick power-up or want to fill up missing slots with shiny rewards, Iron Banner is a great place to get them. Compete with a full fire team or set up in a single node and take on six other random opponents with five random allies. However you decide to play or whatever weapon you bring, don’t forget to check these areas! Throw grenades too, it’s not all chaos.

We have received reports that Eyes of Tomorrow is doing less damage to bosses since the 3.1.0 update.
We acknowledged that the damage was not intentional and initiated an investigation to remedy the situation. We discovered that a modifier on the weapon was set incorrectly to reduce damage for miniboss fighters, such as the bosses you find in the Lost Sector. Patch 3.1.1.1 is a patch currently available for 30. March is planned.
There are reports that this also affects damage to raid bosses, but our internal testing teams have not been able to replicate this and have seen no change in damage to big bads like Shanix when using different combinations of buffs and debuffs.
We thank you for all the reports on this subject that have led to this correction, but that is not all. There are more rumors about this highly sought after launcher with many rockets.
Change in fall rate
We also got a lot of feedback about how The Eyes of Tomorrow wasn’t falling for many players, despite the many purges of different characters. We investigated this and found that location protection is applied per character and not to the entire account.
Shall I tell you, Doctor? We got you. In the upcoming patch 3.1.1.1, we have combined all of your account’s raid successes into a single value, so that protection from bad luck applies no matter which characters you use in a raid. It’s retroactive – so if you haven’t received a donation yet, you’ll get an adjusted donation opportunity after the fix, based on the number of raids you’ve done.
Do you like to delve into the intricacies of video game development? Then read on… The original purpose of the Tomorrow’s Eye protection was to increase your chances of getting it with each weekly account cleanup, up to a 100% guaranteed drop if the RNG wasn’t kind to you. The goal was to reward people who consistently do raids every week, rather than dozens of raids in a week. Another goal was to make sure players with one character weren’t at a disadvantage, because we didn’t want you to have to fill in for the benefits of terrain protection with three characters.
With these goals in mind, we made sure that every character has a weekly chance to get an Exotic, but the bad luck counter only stacks up once a week across the board. This means that players who raid with three characters have three times the chance to drop exotics, but the increase in drop chance only increases once a week and applies to all raids, whether you raid with one or three characters.
However, we have wrongly applied this protection to a system where the data is only stored by letter. In this way, each panel is individually protected. It would be nice, but only the first character you raided each week would contribute to the protection value. Without it, it would take three times as long for the benefits of terrain protection to become apparent to people doing weekly raids with different characters.
In 3.1.1, we combine all raid achievements in your account into one value. This means that if you have participated in weekly raids since launch, the maximum number of possible completions will now be correctly counted towards protecting your location, regardless of which characters you raced. And in the future, this protection will be well built, regardless of character. For some of you, this will have no effect because you are only filling in with one character. For others, your fallout protection is even tripled.
So even if you continue to have bad luck, after this fix, exotics are guaranteed to drop in the coming months if you raid every week. Have fun searching!
Rock Am Soc
Have you ever debated who would win in a fight between characters, celebrities or community managers? Yeah, us too. Except today – then we asked you to say who you think will win the battle against pain. Who’s the worst villain? A robot chicken like the Wvern with its yeth attack or a dreaded captive captain who sends out endless blinding bullets of death?

Here is his report.
3.1.1 UPDATE ANDGHOST SHELLS
On Tuesday, we released the 3.1.1 update. This update solved many problems, including:
- Fixed bug where some users did not have friends or clan members in the PlayStation 5 list.
- Customizable VFX risk runner.
- Reduces the support of the crossbow when hitting the target.
- Several triumphs in the Ascendant challenge resolved.
It should be noted that this update from last year resulted in Guardian Games’ ghost shells being replaced with other ghost shells that disappear when you try to equip them. These Ghost Shells are currently disabled until we can resolve this issue in a future update.
UPDATE 3.1.1 NEXT WEEK
The 3.1.1.1 update will be released next Tuesday, the 23rd. March, start of the weekly restart. Click here for a timeline of service windows and downtime.
Here is a short list of some of the questions that arise:
- Fixed an issue where Scan and Heroic VIP patrols were not appearing on Europa.
- Fixed an issue where the Frozen in Time ornament could not be equipped with the No Time to Declare feature.
- Fixed an issue where Eyes of Tomorrow did less damage than expected against yellow-striped enemies.
- Many changes in stasis.
OSIRIS RENEWAL TESTS
Last Saturday, it was discovered that an issue related to the return of a game in the Osiris playlist, which we thought had been resolved earlier this week, was not. With the 3.1.1 update, this problem should no longer occur. Testing will therefore begin at the usual time this week.
LIGHT DUST PROBLEM SOLVED
Earlier this week, we sent out the missing light dust to players who had not received it during their weekly Vanguard, Crucible or Gambit tests from the 10th to the 23rd. February. There was a delay between sending an in-game message and sending the light cases, as 337K players were eligible, but all missing light cases were delivered.

film?

I want to tell you about a great movie I saw this week. The man went to the street to buy milk and noticed that there was a great donut shop nearby. He started complaining that he really wanted to go in, buy 50 donuts and eat them all at once.
It was a very low budget independent film, written, directed and starringmg. Actually, it was just Dmg taking the community team on a virtual shopping trip to buy milk. When he got to the store, he got whole milk, which seems a bit excessive to me. I’m more of a 2% fan.
Anyway, welcome to the movie of the week. Here we highlight our favorite community that made video for everyone. Here are our picks for this week!

We dive into the season of Chosen. Things are improving and we still have a lot of work to do. A new attack will begin next week for Season Pass holders. Prepare for a direct confrontation with Kabbalah as the champion of humanity.

2020 will satisfy both classic and modern players. To be on the list, the game must be confirmed for 2020, or there must be a compelling reason for it to be released that year. Upcoming games that are only announced and do not have a major release date are therefore not eligible.
By 2020, there will be a ton of… in the world of video games. Here are fifteen games to look forward to in the first half of 2020.
