Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans are in for a treat on the 29th. April to enjoy the first major expansion for the popular open-world Viking title, Wrath of the Druids. The release date for the expansion was confirmed today by Ubisoft, who stated in a blog post that Wrath of the Druids will allow players to explore the enchanted wilderness of Ireland and take on a druid cult called the Children of Danu. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Wrath of the Druids expansion can be purchased separately or as part of the game’s Season Pass.
Although Wrath of the Druids is still over a month away, Ubisoft says there’s already a ton of new content in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It all starts with the beginning of the second season, the Ostara season and the Ostara festival, both of which begin today. The festival is open until 8pm. April available in Ravensthorpe and includes many Easter activities and assignments.
- Formalising locations
- Drinking, archery and fighting mini-games….
- Three new character quests: Eivor can enjoy egg hunts, May Queen celebrations, and protecting the colony from the spirits of the night.
- Three new possibilities: Fearless Leaper allows Avore to perform devastating dive attacks on enemies, while Raven’s Pollution and Food increase Avore’s effectiveness at a distance or in combat.
- Exclusive fees, including invoice processing and item customization.
Players must reach England and complete at least one of the first storylines to participate in the Ostara Festival; the festival then begins automatically when they enter Ravensthorpe. To discover the Queen of May activity, you must reach an estimated level of 3.
Ahead of additional rewards and a new battle mode called Championship Challenge, which will debut later in the Ostara season, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can now change the look of Eivor’s clothing as part of a visual customization system called Transmogrification. Old school fans can also relive the first Assassin’s Creed title with the iconic outfit of Altair, the original main character of the franchise.
